Experience Victoria the right way! - Really great tour, I felt as part of the experience rather than just being guided around. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and somehow included our interests into the tour. At the end of it I felt like me and my partner had made friends with the rest of the group

Highly Recommended - Sarah was an entertaining and extremely knowledgeable tour guide introducing us to the well and not so well known parts of Historical Victoria. She also provided a lot of tips about how to make the most of our visit to the city. We really appreciated her Welcome text message about an hour before the walk was due to start and how accommodating Sarah was to my husband whose back was playing up that day.

Knowledgeable Guide with the finer details - Our guide Stephen, brought alive the hidden past of Victoria. As a local who lives and worked here for many years he shared a good balance of historical knowledge of both western & first nations. We enjoyed his friendliness, humour & expertise. The walking pace was relaxed, and we covered quite a large area of the inner city. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Too short and too few sights - The tour was advertised as 2 hours but the guide finished it 40 minutes early. And we had walked v-e-r-y slowly. While he was a nice guy/guide, we did not feel we got our money's worth. I would not recommend this tour.

It wasn't what we thought it would be . . . - This tour wasn't as described in the promotional listing: 2-hour walking tour through downtown Victoria, unveiling stories of the city's history and contemporary culture, led by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Unfortunately, after 90 minutes we were still in the marina hearing about whre the cruise ships used to dock. . NONE of these things happened: Begin at the iconic Inner Harbour, amidst the architectural wonders of the Empress and the BC Legislative building. Explore the evolution of Government Street, discovering the charm of Bastion Square's cobblestone streets. Traverse Market Square's heritage and modern fusion, uncover Chinatown's multicultural past, immersing yourself in the captivating stories that shape Victoria's vibrant core. Given what we know now, we'd pay a taxi to take us downtown and we'd walk around on our own.
