Very interesting! - I really enjoyed my tour Luis. Lots of knowledge, and when he wasn’t sure, he looked something up, which I appreciate.

Loving Victoria on a Chilly January Day - One of the dangers of visiting during the off-season is often not enough people book gratuity-based walking tours, and they are often cancelled. Thankfully, Joe did not cancel our walking tour although there were only two of us joining Joe. We were in for one of the best walking tours ever. Joe loves Victoria and his knowledge of its history stretching back to its indigenous origins was impressive and appreciated. He also was up-to-date on the latest places to eat, drink and have fun. The insights that Joe provided made Victoria come alive even on a chilly January day.

Education while walking - what’s not to love!! - We booked a 3 hour historic walking tour round Victoria in January. We ended up having a private, information-packed, educational tour with Joe C. To say he was knowledgeable would be an understatement - he spoke knowledgeably and respectfully of the different cultures and history that make up Victoria today including the First Nations and the Chinese population. He brought it all to life by walking through the key areas and buildings diving into more local history of banks, buildings and artists. It was a highlight of our trip!

Highly recommend this visit to the treasures of Victoria. - What an extraordinary tour of downtown Victoria with Jayne. The anecdotes made the tour come alive. There was time for questions, hidden alleys, and feeling like a treasured guest at the Empress Hotel. Live our visit!

Fun and instructive walking tour in Victoria - Our tour with Jayne was both lots of fun and very instructive. She is well versed on the history of the City and region and her stories where full of anecdotes and pictures which made it very interesting. We appreciated the references to the Aboriginal peoples which help us understand the dynamics of the reconciliation efforts of the Gouvernement. There was both time to chat and admire the beautiful city of Victoria! Overall a worthwhile and recommended tour.

Reilly is the best tour guide!!! - Reilly made the walking tour such a great experience for someone who had never been to Victoria before. She’s super knowledgeable, friendly and overall makes the whole tour an amazing time. 10/10 recommend and hopefully anyone gets lucky getting paired up with her for a tour!

Historical insights and gossip make for an interesting tour of old Victoria and its present downtown core. - Our guide was experienced and very thorough. It was a cold and windy day and we could not stay the full tour. She had lots of interesting history and gossip about the historical figures involved in setting up Victoria as a capital city. I didn't know that there had been a fire which burnt the old legislature to the ground. We learnt that the architect who built the new legislature was still a student when his drawings were chosen. We do hope to take another tour in the future. Thank you Jayne
