Whale watching up c.lose and personal - An amazing experience, not to be missed. The skipper was friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful with regard to photography ensuring the sun was behind us. The boat ride in a rigid inflatable was good fun.

Absolutely fantastic experience - This was an unbelievably great experience. We saw lots of Orcas and several Humpbacks, and they came right up to the boat. Lots of sea lions too. The boat was great, very clean and spacious and not too packed. Richard and Sandy did a great job starting us off and taking control of the boat, and it was smooth sailing. Shoutout to Reid who is an absolute superstar - her enthusiasm for the whales and wildlife was so infectious and she did an amazing job, she gave us so much interesting information and made sure nobody missed anything they wanted to see. Michael also took some amazing photos and did a great job too - and getting the photos by email for free later in the day is a fantastic touch. A fantastic company with great staff and a truly wonderful day. I plan to look back at these photos for many years to come and remember a special day.

Great Experience in Seeing Whales! - This was a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We got to see multiple Orcas, Humpbacks, and seals on our three hour excursion. The price of the tour was reasonable. Francois and Gord did a great job handling the boat. Michael did an outstanding job talking about the whales and Aleesa took excellent photos of the whales. I enthusiastically recommend Prince of Whales and look forward to doing another whale trip the next time we’re in Victoria!

Amazing!! - Absolutely loved it! Reid and Micheal were our animal experts and they were incredibly knowledgeable telling us facts about everything and knowing all the answers to all our questions! They went in search for orcas as they knew a lot of us on this tour wanted to see them. Although unlucky my family and I really appreciated the effort they put into trying to get us to see everything we could! The caption Richard and first mate Gord made us feel u credibly safe and made the journey a smooth one. Would 100% recommend!!

An exciting day with the whales. - The weather wasn’t great when we were going out, but Richard our Captain and first mate Sandy both made sure the ride was smooth and navigated around to give us the best views of all the orcas, humpback whales and sea lions. It was comfortable inside the heated cabin with warm drinks offered for free which was an added bonus. Once we arrived to watch the Orcas the weather cleared up and it was so fun to see the youngsters zooming through the water. Our guides for the day Reid and Michael were great, they both had so much interesting information to share with us and their excitement was contagious. We had an unforgettable encounter with a humpback whale checking out the boat and saw a group of them feeding. It was a great experience that I recommend to everyone.

Perfect day out! - Such a great day out! The crew were amazing. We had Reid and Michael as our guides and they were so knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. They could pick the name of the whale we were looking at so quickly.
Our captains were Richard and Gord and they made sure we were always where the action was.
They took photos of everything we saw with a great camera, so we didn’t have to worry about looking through our phones the whole time to capture the moment. At the end they send you all the photos. I didn’t even have my phone with me and got to just enjoy the moment.
The boat was big and spacious with lots of places to sit and watch the whales. We were lucky to only have the boat a third full being the end of the season. No matter what we always had a great view of the whales.
Booking was super easy online. Would definitely book with this company again if I’m ever back in Victoria or Vancouver.

Amazing , best crew and boat , unforgettable day!!! - Great experience! Wonderful crew and captain. Very comfortable clean boat , refreshments offered were very much appreciated in a blustery day . Captain and first mate worked hard to get us as close as allowed to see whales. Several humpbacks, sea lions one adorable sea otter. Tons of birds . The pictures taken for us was cherry on top ! I tried to just soak in the beauty and experience. Highly recommend this experience
