The next day begins with a hearty English breakfast, followed by a comprehensive briefing from the guide. This will include details on river conditions, rapids, canoeing instructions, safety, and general information. Guests will be required to sign an indemnity form.
The day is dedicated to canoeing (18kms) downstream, navigating small grade one and two rapids, exploring channels, and enjoying bird and game viewing. The Kandahar Rapids are tackled on this day. A picnic lunch is provided on the mainland or an island.
Cold soft drinks, mineral water, and beers are available at the take-out point at the end of the day, with guests returning to Victoria Falls by around 14:30.
Canoe operations may vary depending on river water levels, and adjustments may be made to all trips accordingly.
