Overall highly recommend this tour for its smoothness and the enjoyable experience of seeing many animals - A great experience if you want to get a sampling of safari, are in Victoria Falls area, and want to reach a new country Botswana!
Tour consists of a drive from Vic Falls to the border, where you will go through immigration to exit Zimbabwe and enter Botswana; highly recommend the KAZA visa if you plan to cross borders with Zambia and/or Namibia, as it is multi entry and covers those as well.
Afterwards you reach a local lodge near Kasane Botswana and you go on a boat safari on the Chobe River. There I got to see crocodiles, hippos, impalas, and multiple species of bird.
Then you return to the lodge, have lunch, and then you go on a road safari on a jeep. There we were treated to many up close sightings, including a giraffe sighting, where he walked up to us and proceeded to take a 2.5 minute pee!
The guides were extremely helpful especially the driver on the road safari; he also communicates with other drivers and they coordinate to maximize animal sightings
Overall highly recommend this tour for its smoothness and the enjoyable experience of seeing many animals. This is great especially if you are doing a safari for the first time and want to start small.

Amazing Experience! - Since we just went last week, and since many people just read the first part of a review, let me begin by saying that the immigration in Botswana did NOT ask for any COVID information. We had been told that a negative COVID test - within 48 hours of the trip - would be needed for people -like us - who were not fully vaccinated, so I arranged for a nurse to come from a lab to the hotel to do a COVID test for us two days prior to the trip. When we did the border crossing, no traveler was asked anything about proof of COVID shots or negative COVID tests so we realized that we had spent $80 for nothing! I made a comment to the Botswana tour guide, and he said that COVID is no big deal anymore and nothing is asked about it anymore. Also, we were never asked to pay a park fee. Now, on to more of the review. I highly, highly recommend this tour. We were picked up promptly at our hotel. The driver and other staff member were very friendly. On the Botswana side, we had great guides. We saw so much!! The tour was well-planned and done with ease. Lunch was delicious. It was a superb outing!

Excellent - Boat cruise as we saw more animals and the guide was knowledgeable. The game drive did offer some interesting information but less animals

Amazing Safari day - A wonderful day exploring Chobe by land and water. We got to see animals up close and the guides were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The lunch was buffet style and had options for everyone's dietary needs

Great Experience - We were picked up by the driver around 07:30, and drove to the Botswana border (highly recommend that you purchase upon arriving in Zambia, Botswana, or Zimbabwe the Kaza Visa as it allows multiple entries to all these countries) Depending on your group size, you will either begin your day with the boat tour or vehicle tour. We started our day with the bout tour around 10:30. We were fortunate to see hippos, water buffaloes, elephants, and many species or birds.
We returned from the departing point for lunch around 12:30. The included lunch (buffet) was excellent. Your choice of different meats, vegetables, fruits, and deserts. Only tap water, coffee, and some juices were included. Sodas are about $3USD each.
The open vehicle safari began around 01:30 (it takes approximately 45 mins from the restaurant to the actual location). As soon as you enter the reservation you will most likely see gazelles. We were able to see a lion and lioness together. After that, we saw buffaloes and many, many elephants. The tour ended around 16:30, and were dropped off at our hotel around 18:15.

The boat trip is good and it is... -
The boat trip is good and it is relaxing to see many animals, especially many beautiful birds.
The game drive just OK and short because too many jeeps stop at the one place to look at animals, it is difficult to see it.
The arrangement is bad. We change to different tour group for 3 times. We never know who is our tour guide. At the border we asked another group tour guide to help us to ask immigration question. Finally that guide help us find out who should take care us at the border.

I have just completed my trip that... -
I have just completed my trip that included this tour. Hence the delay in my review. I had the worst experience ever booking a tour with a vendor. I really think Viator should screen these people much closer. I had a horrible time trying to reconfirm my tour the day prior. Someone did show up late the day of to facilitate the transfer from Victoria Falls to Botswana per the tour proviso. He saw that I crossed and joined a group for the day. In the afternoon, when we were in Chobe, the heavens opened and we were dumped with rain for 75 - 90 minutes. Everyone in the open vehicle was drenched. They returned me to the border for my transfer back to the Falls. The only problem was my tour operator dropped me onto another operator for the return. The big problem was the other operator had people still in Botswana and we had to wait 1 and 1/4 hours for those folks to return. So there I sat completely drenched hoping I would not get sick. I simply could not understand how this could happen. It left me feeling like it's not worth using this website to book tours if there is the possibility of something like this happening. Horrible!!!!!
