After that, we continue to the Historic Victoria Falls Train station and the well-known Victoria Falls Hotel. From there, we will have the opportunity to see the Gorge, the Victoria Falls bridge, and the mist of the Mighty Victoria Falls. Then we continue a ten-minute walk where we might encounter animals such as baboons, elephants, warthogs, impalas, buffalos, and bushbucks to a stunning panoramic view of the gorge of the Zambezi River and the Bridge. Then we will walk back to the point of origin through the bush to town with the possibility of having wildlife sightings.
- Victoria Falls - At the Historic Victoria Falls Hotel, the 2nd oldest hotel in Africa, you will learn about its history. The spray and thunder of the falls will be present in the distance. I will also point out where you may, at a later stage, have High Tea (an old English tradition still celebrated here) overlooking the gorge of the Zambezi river. Please note that due to COVID we may not enter the Hotel premises.
- Victoria Falls Bridge - After the Victoria Falls Hotel, we will be passing the Kingdom Hotel, which is built in the style of the Great Zimbabwe ruins. We continue our walking tour with a short bush walk where we might encounter wildlife such as baboons, warthogs, impalas, and bushbucks. After 10 minutes we will be reaching another panoramic viewpoint of the mighty Zambezi river, the gorge, and the Victoria Falls bridge. After that, I will be guiding you back through the bush to the place where the tour started. I hope you will book the tour with me, I am looking forward to showing you the magic of Zimbabwe, so you can spread some of it to the rest of the world.
