a great day - Simon was our very patient guide, the visit to the falls was great, the craft center was not very interesting, the highlight was a visit to a homestead, those memories will stay with us for a long time, we had high tea at the Victoria Falls hotel which was a good but difficult contrast to the homestead. lunch was at a spectacular location. we enjoyed the day, simon was a great host

Fantastic informative tour of Victoria falls and more - We were picked up from our safari lodge early morning by Simon our tour guide and so began a fantastic, informative day. Off to Victoria falls we went, Simon our guide was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We have visited the falls before on our own but never really knew much about them, Simon certainly changed all of that, not only does he have so much information about the area he also took the time to take photographs of me and the wife to further give our visit the personal touch. After our comprehensive tour of the falls lasting well over an hour and a half we were taken to see the largest known Baobab tree where more photos were taken. It was then onto the Lookout Café for a lovely lunch (fantastic food). After Lunch we were given the option of visiting a local family at a rural homestead, we did this with a relish, visiting a local supermarket first to buy some basic supplies for them (also optional) We had a great time visiting, it was so good to see the family. it was such a friendly atmosphere. what a pleasurable experience it was. After saying our goodbyes we were whisked off to our final destination at the fantastic Victoria Falls hotel where we enjoyed a fantastic and very English afternoon tea on the Stanley terrace Finally we were taken back to our lodge. A very full enjoyable day. Thank you Simon You certainly are a star.

Excellent experience - We enjoyed the beauty of the falls very much. The portion of seeing how people really live outside of the main town was truly eye opening and unforgettable.

I was a little apprehensive about my... -
I was a little apprehensive about my trip to Victoria falls and Chobe park Botsawana since I could not find online booking to all the activities and the level of service. I bought this trip and I was very happy with it. The trip was from Tamuka Travel. Our guide Brighton was just wonderful. We have him take care of all our activities even in Botsawana. He made sure every thing went smoothly and followed up with us all the time to make sure we were satisfied with the service. I would highly recommend him.

Not match on what they mentioned on Website ( without visit the local villages !! ) - I joined Tamuka travel of the 'Victoria Falls Cultural Private Tour with Lunch'. First of all, pick up time was messing due to 2 parties information. Explanation about the Victoria Falls from the guide - Simon are okay and care about our 3 visitors. After finished the Victoria Falls tour, then move to Big Tree and take our lunch. They mentied 3 A la carte menu, but finally we only had the main course... But it is not a big issue ( Water also need to pay by myself ) After finish the lunch, then go to the local market and drive around the streets but not as per their photos @ trip advisor that I never visited villages - big issue ( finally high tea @ Victoria Falls Hotel are okay )

Poor Operation - The first issue which rubbed me the wrong way was when the agent asked for an additional $90 USD for a park entrance fee. No where in the reservation was it stated that we would be asked for additional funds. Next issue came when we decided we didn't want to walk to the lunch restaurant. We had to wait for a car and the car that arrived was not the one we were originally picked up when. When the guide came to pick us up for lunch it was someone's non air conditioned cab. After lunch we were transported in another vehicle again with out air conditioning which made it a miserable experience for us as it was quite hot. We didn't understand why we started off in an air conditioned vehicle in the morning only to end up in a non air conditioned vehicle in the afternoon. It also upset us that we had to sit outside for lunch when we would have preferred inside. Note: we were paying the same prices as the people sitting inside in the cool place.
