- Victoria Falls - As you cruise on the upper Zambezi River, you will also see the mist rising up from the magical Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River is the fourth-longest river in Africa, the longest east-flowing river in Africa and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa. The 2,574-kilometre-long river (1,599 mi) arises in Zambia and flows through eastern Angola, along the north-eastern border of Namibia and the northern border of Botswana, then along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe to Mozambique, where it crosses the country to empty into the Indian Ocean. The Zambezi’s most noted feature is Victoria Falls.
- Zambezi National Park - This park consists of 40km of the Zambezi River frontage and a spread of wildlife, rich inland mopane forest and savanna. Zambezi National Park is conjoined with Victoria Falls National Park and both parks cover an area of 56 000 hectares. A wide variety of larger mammals may be found within the park. If you are lucky you might come across animals such as hippos, elephant, crocodiles, kudus as you cruise on the Zambezi River.

Sunset River Cruise Was The Best - We booked our sunset cruise through Shearwater Adventures. They picked us up at the hotel and took us to the boat. They had complementary soft drinks and a tasty snack. We saw hippos and crocodiles - they were amazing! The sunset topped it all off! So glad we went.

Just do it. - Had a ball on this trip. Plenty of cocktails were had. I didn't expect to see as many animals as we did as i thought it was more about the sunset, which was spectacular. The snacks were nice but a little light on. The drinks flowed freely and were well made. The staff were good and attentive. The boat was stunning and the seating was great.

Well worth a visit - Very good excursion. Promptly collected from our hotel (Ilala Lodge) for the short drive to the Zambezi. Knowledge and talkative Captain and assistant on our small (max 16) vessel. Drinks and nibbles provided throughout. We cruised to river to search for wildlife - one elephant, many hippos and Nile crocodiles, plenty of birds. Information about these was given constantly. The sunset was beautiful. If you are fortunate enough to visit Victoria Falls then I highly recommend this to you.

Sunset and wildlife - Relaxing trip with great food and drinks whilst watching the wildlife on and around the river as the sun sets. The crew are attentive and helpful and the boat itself is comfortable and well maintained. There was a lovely serenade from the staff at the end.

An enjoyable and relaxing time - An enjoyable experience from start to finish . Pick up and drop off were done on time . The trip itself was a very relaxing way to see the zambezi river and to catch the sun set and the staff on board the boat were first class .

Zambezi Sunset Cruise Signature Deck - We had a great experience aboard the Pure Africa sunset cruise on the Signature Deck.
The Signature Deck itself was beautifully arranged, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy uninterrupted views of the Zambezi River.
The highlight was witnessing the sunset and the perfect photo opportunities.
There was a selection of delicious snacks, although the service for drinks was a little slow.
Overall, the Pure Africa sunset cruise on the Signature Deck is a great was to enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Zambezi.

BEAUTIFUL CRUISE - Beautiful moment of tranquility sailing on this beautiful river. We were able to observe crocodile, hippo....
Good appetizers with unlimited drinks.
Very nice bubble of slowness to end a tour in South Africa.

It was just an average boat ride, loved seeing the wildlife. - I was expecting a dinner on this cruise but got light bites that were not very appetizing. Drinks were good.
