Zambezi River Cruise - Excellent value friendly staff, saw Hippos elephant and crocodile. The best part you can drink as much as you like beet wine and spirits. The snack food provided was also excellent.

Beautiful Sunset - We never received our exact pick up time, so we had to contact Wild Horizons to find it out. Our pick up time was 1 hour before the boat ride and we were picked up on time from our hotel. The boat ride was calm and peaceful. Each group had their own table and chairs and were given a festive welcome drink. We had choices of different drinks, including water, sodas, wine, beer, and spirits. For snacks, we had chicken wings, meatballs, sausage, mini vegetable quiches, and cheese breadsticks. The servers worked hard making sure everyone had what they wanted to eat or drink. Our particular cruise didn't see a huge amount of animals, but there were some elephants hiding behind bushes on the side of the river, hippos that were submerged in the water and would pop up every so often, and various birds. The African sunset was glorious and was a highlight of our boat trip.

Enjoyable evening cruise - Arrived in Zimbabwe and went on this cruise almost immediately. Friendly staff who provided a delicious meal and included drinks. Saw hippos, elephants and crocs. A lovely experience showcasing the Zambezi river and Zimbabwean friendliness.

Wild Horizons, Victoria Galls tours - Vincent at Wild Horizons Victoria Falls arranged several short tours for us, including Devil's Pool and Livingstone Island, Bike Ride, lunch at a local home, Zambezi River Cruise, Village walk in Namibia and a Game Drive at the Pricate Game Reserfe to see Rhinos.
Loved all of it. Especially loved the Devil's Pool swim.
Vincent was very friendly and helpful.

Great ambiance, great scenery, awesome sunset. - A memorable evening. Super comfortable seating around tables on the upper deck with great views. (The upper deck does give slightly better views so it’s worth getting a table there if you can - first come, first served).
The promise of simple “snacks” definitely do justice to what we got: really well presented, generous and varied they made a great start to the cruise. Generous drinks (we recommend the G&Ts!)
Just the right amount of commentary/explanation from the captain - in person, not over a loud speaker. A fascinating route which gave glimpses of the rapids above the Falls as well as varied shoreline scenery. Breathtaking sunset.
We glimpsed hippos and crocodiles, and whenever they were visible the boat got as close as it could. Don’t expect a river safari though; the experience is all about ambiance, scenery and sunset.
We loved it!

Wow... Words fail me!! - Omw!! This experience topped off my Victoria Falls tour. Wow!!
From the driver guide who did the transfers to and from the boat, to the staff on the boat, to the food, and of course, the magical sunset.
Words cannot describe how lovely this was!!
Kudo's to the team!!

Wild Horizons makes good - Wild Horizons disappointed us the day before by not picking us up. However the next day, they made up for it by rescheduling our cruise and a complimentary dinner. We were impressed by their team helping us out. A poor experience was exceeded by making up to us.

Relaxing cruise but book direct - This was a relaxing cruise and we got the chance to see some animals and enjoy a beautiful sunset. However, it wasn’t clear when booking that you don’t actually see Victoria Falls during the cruise. Additionally, I would be careful booking through Viator as Viator had incorrect information on pickup time. It also didn’t seem to have frequent communication with the tour operator, as we added a person a few days prior which the tour operator wasn’t aware of and messages sent to the tour operator via Viator were not answered. The snacks were pretty good, despite being a bit cold.

Dinner Cruise on the Zambezi - Originally scheduled for a pick-up at our hotel at 5:00 PM. Upon checking in with our hotel's front desk earlier in the day, we were informed that the pick-up time had been changed to 5:30 PM. At 4:50 PM we received a phone call from the hotel desk informing us that our transport was on site and impatiently waiting for us.
We hustled down to the pick-up location and were informed by the driver that the cruise is scheduled to BEGIN at 5:00 PM.
Our bus stopped at another hotel to pick-up guests and while the driver was out of the vehicle two other couples informed us that they, too, had been provided incorrect pick-up times. Two ladies travelling together stated that they were given a 4:00 PM pick-up time and had waited around until after 4:30 PM. The other couple's situation was similar to ours.
Once we got to the dock and boarded the vessel, the experience turned better. However, another Wild Horizons vessel was pulling away from the dock at the same time as our vessel - at approximately 5:30 PM. So much for a 5:00 PM departure time.
The cruise was OK. We did either slow down or stop to see a crocodile, some hippos, and two elephants during our cruise. At no time was there any commentary by the crew. Although service was good, the food was merely so-so.
Overall, this excursion was just OK.
