  I’ll tell you general information about Austria and Austrian history. We’ll do a short stop at a gas station for a restroom, snack, and coffee.

• Traunkirchen - Traunkirchen, 30 min.
  Small but fine, this is how Traunkirchen am Traunsee presents itself, one of the most picturesque holiday resorts in Salzkammergut. It’s an idyllic town center with a medieval monastery.

• Bad Ischl - Bad Ischl manages wonderfully to carry its history into the present. With her sympathetic way of bringing history into the present, the heart of the Salzkammergut offers you a diverse area of
  experience.

• Hallstatt - Hallstatt, 2 hours.
  Halstatt is a charming village on the lake. It’s an unbelievable place that looks like an open-air museum, but still, people are living in this village. We will have time to take lunch and we’ll go together for a short walking tour.

• Hallstatt - From the village Traunkirchen to Hallstatt, we will drive along a picturesque village road, past fascinating mountain views and the beautiful town of Bad Ischl, which for many years was a favorite vacation spot of the imperial family of Austria.

Embark on a day-long adventure across three of the most enchanting locations nestled within the Austrian Alps.

Our initial stop will be at the charming village of Traunkirchen, a gem in the Salzkammergut’s (Lake District) crown. Positioned on a peninsula along the western coastline of Traunsee Lake, its beauty is quite unparalleled.

Up next, our journey takes us to Bad Ischl. This city beautifully marries its rich history with its modernity. The best way to soak in its regal past isn’t through searching in books but by just leisurely exploring the city streets. Every clearance and crevice whispers tales of the historical era gone by!

Our final destination is the ethereal town of Hallstatt. Decked with pastel-hued homes and laced with cobbled pathways, the town is set within the impressive backdrop of the Northern Limestone Alps. We will navigate through its slender lanes, and if fortunate, stumble upon some resident cats. Our day concludes with a scrumptious meal at a appealing lakeside eatery in Hallstatt.
