Sad yes, educational, very much so, necessary, absolutely yes - A visit to any kind of history related to the Holocaust is never easy. However, I think it is important if you can do it. This trip to Mauthausen touched all of the important points about the camp. The tour guide there told some moving and some interesting stories. He made us think how people could be so inhuman and inhumane to others. I recommend this tour.
