Whether you choose our 4-hour morning excursion that includes lunch or the 5 hour afternoon tour with dinner, you’ll receive an inside view of countryside life and winemaking. Accompany us to explore the wine cellars, associate with the local farmers and vintners, and relish the natural surroundings while you sip on superior wine. Well worth the time and money. Enjoy! - 1st and especially the 2nd winery visits were very informative and delightful to drink. Look, Weingut Roman Hormayer really knows his terrain, drinking preferences of his clientele, and resulting “shelf life” of his wines. It matters when buying, as availability can be limited. There is no doubt in my mind he will be very successful and his wines will be very much in demand. The third visit was unremarkable as the mayor of the city/wine maker did not show. No big deal, his wines were just as unremarkable. Our host Martin was very lively,informative (and apologetic for the third visit). Life happens and you have to go with the flow, he did, we did and it was a fantastic tour. I would do it again. Viator for the win!

Great tour and amazing tour guide! - Highly recommend this tour. Harold was amazing! The wines were all very good and got to learn about the history of Austrian wines, but specifically in the Vienna area. This tour was the highlight of our trip in Vienna. Would definitely do the tour if you have the chance.

Great afternoon tasting wine and enjoying the countryside - I had an excellent tour at a local winery near Vienna. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. He shared many fun facts about the city as we drove to the winery. I had the opportunity to meet some great folks, enjoy the countryside, and have some wine. We tasted a total of 4 different wines at each winery. The lunch we had was very good. I would highly recommend this tour to friends and family.

An unparalleled experience with authentic Austrian wine - This was our favorite experience during our Vienna trip! We got to taste amazing wines, experience the countryside, and learned a lot about the history of Vienna and its wine culture from our tour guide. The highlights: delicious food and wines, a very knowledgeable and personable tour guide, and a great view of the countryside surrounding the city. If you're visiting Vienna even for a short trip, we highly recommend this!

Favourite tour of our trip! - This was a fantastic tour. Martin our guide was fun and very knowledgeable, the wines were delicious, and we loved the traditional dinner at our last stop.
We are in our 50’s and we had a late 20yr old and we all had a brilliant time.
10/10 would definitely recommend.

Organic Family Vintners - We had a wonderful tour of 3 wineries, all local and family owned. Production is small, from vine to bottle. 80% of Austrian wine never gets out of the country because the demand is so high; yet somehow, pricer are low. Great group of 6.on our tour.

Great guide and good wine makers - Took this tour with my spouse and had a great time. Martin was an excellent guide - very hospitable and showed his knowledge of wine. The first wine maker offered excellent quality, the second an amazing ambiance. The third stop was a golf course restaurant and left a bit to be desired but food and drink were good (this may have been because it was a Sunday). Overall would recommend
