Fun! Amazing views! - Super, fun experience! You can see the whole of Vienna from up here! It was a nice walk about 20mins from the nearest tube station - but you stroll through the park, so was lovely to be in the greenery. We did stop for a drink in the cafe - we knew it would be pricey, but less than some London tourist attractions - was 15 euros for 2 bottles of coke and a hot chocolate. You must try the slide! It was a hilarious, thrilling ride and you get to see a photo of yourself at the end! We couldn’t stop laughing!

Incredible panoramic views - If you love panoramic views, the Danube tower is a must visit. The observation deck offers a spectacular perspective of Vienna. Though it’s a bit outside the city center, it’s well worth the trip. I visited at night and the view was absolutely amazing.

Aim for sunset for the best views of the changing skyline - Best views and best value for money in Vienna. Tried to time our visit with sunset but just missed it but managed to catch last light which still made for a lovely sky. Staff were welcoming and friendly and it was easy to get to via the underground albeit with a 10-15min walk through the park.

Well Worth A Visit - Well worth the visit and straightforward to get to via the U-Bahn U1 line, via Kaisermullen station. When coming out of the station there are brown tourist signs giving directions, and after ten minutes walking you can see the tower on the far side of Donaupark. The internal lifts have clear ceiling so you can see how rapidly the you are moving upwards. The viewing gallery at 150m provides a great 360 degree view. A little higher up the is the opportunity to go down an external spiral slide, the top half of which is clear. In our late sixties we decided this was a must do!! A little higher up is the rotating café.

Nice place to look over Vienna - Nice to see Vienna from above from a distance. Nice cafe. This rotates in 365 degrees within half an hour. So while enjoying a drink you can see Vienna from any direction. Bit out direction from the center but with the subway and a bit of walking doable.

Enchanting view - I personally took 20 minutes to visit. In the elevator has a female employee who guides you to the appropriate floor. The view was great.A powerful experience was the 5 euro cost.Noteworthy was also the souvenir store but here was the reason why a star was lost.I had got souvenir cups of coffee and they did not have the appropriate packaging in the safe to be able to take them to the plane.

Fun if you have time to kill - As part of a combination ticket with the zoo I would heavily recommend this, on a clear day. Makes the value worthwhile, especially with the unique slide to go down at the top (which is a shame you have to pay extra for). Staff were helpful and friendly. I think as a standalone activity it’s not a must-do - it’s out of the way, everything is far away from the tower itself and you can get better views from the city centre itself.

More smoke than roast - Let’s say that after going up on London skyscrapers with open elevators , here there is no waw effect. 18€ only to climb.5€ if you want to experience the slide. Exaggerated bar prices. The rotating effect of the bar is peculiar but so slow that you can hardly perceive it if not looking at a fixed point
