Guided tour 1900 - Participated in the guided tour on Sunday afternoon. Gives a good overview and is very interesting. Highly recommended! Will come back again to see the exhibition in detail and with leisure.

Visit the Leopold Museum! - Exceptional experience. A beautifully furnished museum. An extraordinary visit from the artistic point of view, and very illuminating on the evolution of ideas and art between the 19th and the 20th centuries.

Loved the Leopold. - We had only a few days in Vienna and there were so many galleries and museums that we wanted to see. We started with the Leopold and it did not disappoint. So much Schiele and so much more: Klimt, Kokoschka, and Kolo Moser, And it's not just painting, they've recreated whole rooms to breathe more life into the work on the walls. I had never even heard of Wacker, whose work filled the exhibition space on the ground floor, but I found lots of that fascinating and I feel I know him and his work well now. And we had a great lunch in the lively café on the first floor.

We will be back ... - We were impressed by the abundance of exhibits and commentary on several levels as well as by the two special exhibitions in the basement; We took a break in the adjoining café with a beautiful view of the museum courtyard. We are sure to make a visit here again on next visit to Vienna...

Simply stunning! - We (unfortunately) saved our visit to the Leopold Museum for our last full day in Vienna. Wanted to see their Klimts and Schiele works. What a mistake! We were on the 4th floor (Klimt and other artists) for nearly 3 hours! The layout is spectacular, the audio guide and written explanations so thorough, so interesting - so sadly we were near-exhausted by time we got to the MAGNIFICENT Schiele works ! Had we had more time in Vienna, we truly would’ve come back for a second day, or scheduled the day such that we could’ve taken lunch in the café and then tackled the other floors. It was entirely unexpected that we would be totally blown away by every aspect of this compact museum. I should’ve purchased the museum catalogue as well for the paintings — I didn’t want to cart this back home in my luggage! A second mistake! The English language offerings in the store were much more extensive than I’ve been able to find stateside. So I guess we will just have to plan to go back, which we will. ;) And, the blonde who sold us our tickets was charming with perfect English.

One of the best museum in Vienna - We've been on December 31st on guided tour in Leopold museum. The tour was very interesting and the guide, I don't remember her name, was very professional. I think that maybe she would have "touch" also the famous painter Oskar Kokoschka but anyway we were very impressed by her explanation. One of the best museum in Vienna

Amazing - My wife and I have a number of the Vienna museums in the last 18 months, this was my wife’s favourite as the art and artists are her favourite period/style and an amazing collection laid and explained beautifully.

Well worth a visit. - Immediate entry, exhibition well distributed, uncrowded. It also deserves the cafe inside. Obviously interesting works of art.
