Amazing performance, would highly recommend - Absolutely stunning! The concert was everything I expected and more. Walking the streets Mozart did to get there was icing on the cake. The only downside is the chairs are tightly packed in there. Very little wiggle room. They should also have a limit on the age of children who should attend so as not to ruin the concert for everyone. It should be 14 and older. One woman had two smaller kids at the concert and they were very badly behaved. Her fault of course. She was yelling at the nanny to watch them, but she gave birth to them. Some guy yelled at her before the concert started. It took away from the beginning. Anyways....back to the concert. Amazing and would highly recommend.

Great string quartet in a room full of history. - This small room is an unique place to hear excellent music. The room seats about 55 people & looks as pictured. Knowing the history, that Mozart himself played in this room made it even more special. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Absolutely loved it - This is a "not to be missed" experience while in Vienna. We were enchanted with the string quartet and the venue. It is amazing to think Mozart worked and performed in this room so many years ago. This concert was truly a highlight of our trip to Vienna. The chairs are close together but they have a place for coats before you enter. We attended in January and it was almost full so getting tickets in advance is recommended.

fantastic and unforgettable. great experience - Absolutely recommended. It has been a unique and unforgettable experience. Great musicians passionate and clearly studious in music. It has been fascinating and it is a feeling that has surprised me pleasantly. I thought it would be more "simple" and even more touristy, but you feel lucky to be able to listen live to musicians with so much talent, in a space that is reduced makes it more special and with good acoustics.

Wonderful musical experience - The music played by the quartet was very impressive. They played classic pieces that we enjoyed hearing. The venue is beautiful. My only complaint is the seating was quite cramped.

A family and classic evening - The trio plays incredibly beautiful, lots of emotions and stories all evening. So close and familiar brings more authenticity. Great experience and violin, cello and piano is a perfect mix, played with a lot of passion. Definitely to see!

A tourist treat - If you are a tourist with little to no classical musical background and are willing to pay the ticket price for a custom tailored “Vienna-experience” you are likely in for a treat and going to enjoy this program tremendously. And need to read no further. If, however, you are more of a frequent concert-goer (or a trained musician yourself) you may appreciate some additional details before attending. Me and my wife are such people, having received the tickets from friends as a gift (who in turn also received them as a present but could not go due to conflicting schedule). First of all, contrary to some reviews which call this a scam, it isn’t. You get what you were promised, four trained musicians play works of Mozart and contemporaries, or other composers connected to Vienna. The talent level on the other hand varies among the four, and they didn’t feel super well-knit as a quartet who had been playing together for many years. My take, based on the performance I heard, is that for one of the four musicians these concerts are possibly the main source of income, while for the other three this is more like a day gig for a little (or not so little) extra money. The venue is unique enough. There are of course places in the city more historically connected to Mozart, but he did spend a few weeks in the complex and may have played in this room as well, which adds to the atmosphere. Acoustics is about what one can expect from such a small vault packed with people. The selection of music was good in the first half, while the second half catered more to the taste of the general public. I even heard moans of pleasure from here and there upon the recognition of A Little Night Music… Altogether, this is a program designed to draw tourists for a classical musical concert, something they may not spend money on be the city other than Vienna. And it is quite successful at that. The raving reviews of others and the reaction of some members of the crowd we attended this concert with confirm that. As a musical experience however it is definitely not worth the steep price.
