- Vienna - The tour begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Vienna at a prearranged time. The driver will brief you on the tour details before setting off through the Viennese Forest, with the first stop at Melk Abbey.
- Melk Abbey - Upon arrival in Melk, delve into the history of the nearly thousand-year-old Benedictine Abbey. Overlooking the town, this impressive baroque-style Abbey houses a renowned library and is the final resting place of Saint Coloman, Austria’s patron saint. During your visit, you can also explore the Abbey church and the garden pavilion. After approximately an hour in Melk, continue your journey through the Austrian countryside, passing lakes and mountains, to your next destination, the charming town of Hallstatt.
- Hallstatt - Nestled between mountains and a lake, Hallstatt is famed as one of Europe’s most photographed villages. During your approximately 1.5-hour visit, you can visit the Skywalk 360m platform for breathtaking views, stroll along the Promenade into the colorful town center with its numerous small shops, and enjoy local delicacies by Hallstatt lake to make your visit even more memorable.
- Lake Wolfgang - The route from Hallstatt to Salzburg offers spectacular panoramic views of the lakes in the Salzkammergut region. We will provide a photo break opportunity at Lake Wolfgang in the town of Sankt Gilgen. Feel free to ask the driver for any additional short stops along this route to capture the picturesque scenery of the Austrian lakes.
- Salzburg - The tour continues with a visit to Salzburg. Upon arrival, independently explore the UNESCO-protected Old Town, the Mirabell Palace Gardens—used as a filming location for the popular “Sound of Music” movie and the “Do-Re-Mi” song—or enjoy a spectacular view of the city from the Hohensalzburg fortress. Surrounded by mountains, Salzburg is renowned as Mozart’s birthplace, and you can try Mozart chocolate, available only in Salzburg. After concluding our day in Salzburg around 17:30 - 18:00, we will drive you back to your accommodation in Vienna, where your day tour with us began.

Best private tours - It was a long day, but we had a fabulous driver Draco, we had enough time in each area , I would highly recommend , not if you don’t like long days . It was a lot of scenery looking , from van window but we all loved the trip, Salzburg was fun but on Sundays nothing is open . The castle is a long trip up for a quick snack

Charming tour of Salzburg - We thoroughly enjoyed Romano’s warm and extensive knowledge of the area and the sites offered on our tour. The time given in each destination was perfect and could be even personalized if requested. We would definitely use this tour group and ask for Romano again.

Awesome Private Tour - Our driver Romano, was awesome. Spent a great day traveling to Melk, Hallstatt and Salzburg. Took us to all the main highlights and shared his wealth of knowledge. Also great to sit in a private car and not have to figure out transportation.

Amazing one day trip! - My Fiancé and I had a day trip to Melk, Hallstatt and Salzburg from Vienna with our driver D. D picked us up right on time for the day trip. He was very knowledgeable and an awesome and safe driver. The three places we visited were absolutely stunning and with D's knowledge at each location, it made it even more entertaining. We had great conversations with D as well during the drive since it was a long way to all these places. This was our first visit to Vienna so D really educated us on many things during the drive. We highly recommend this trip if you are crunched on time. If you have extra time, I would suggest two days in Hallstatt and esp Salzburg - two days will suffice but if you are short on time, this trip will give you all that you need to see these places in one day. Ask for D, he will surely make the trip even more enjoyable. Five stars all around!

A magical experience! - What a magical experience this was! My dad and I were on vacation in Vienna. We wanted to see more of Austria and this trip was the perfect way for us to do so on the little time we had. I love that it was a private car and a private guide - allowing for the schedule to be tailored to our interests and flexible. Our guide, Romano, was friendly and informative. He informed us of the history of each destination upon arrival and, before letting us go explore each of the towns on our own, gave us great recommendations for food, sights, and museums. We had great luck with the weather and we went on a Sunday, which allowed us to witness a service at the Milk Abbey. I would love to go back to each town someday to explore more and experience more than just a few hours in each destination; however, for the little time we had on our trip, this was perfect and truly magical. I highly reccomend!
