- Mondsee - Your unforgettable trip begins in the idyllic sceneries of the Austrian Alps, where you will visit the famous church of Mondsee, chosen by the film director as an ideal location for Maria’s wedding setting.
- St Gilgen - On the way to Salzburg you will not stop taking pictures of the beautiful lakes and peaks. View over elegant village of St. Gilgen on the northern shore of Lake Wolfgangsee reveals an Alpine idyll coupled with mountain Flair. One of Salzburg’s most famous sons has his ancestral roots here. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s mother, Anna, was born in this beautiful village.
- Salzburg - Salzburg is an inviting, beautiful city on the banks of the River Salzach, and is also the world capital of classical music, being the home town of both Mozart and Karajan. Mozart chocolates, Mozart rubber ducks, Mozart ice cream: There is practically nothing that doesn’t sport the likeness of this city’s greatest son. As the city in which Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born and grew up, Salzburg can fairly claim the title of City of Mozart. Just be ready to bump into Mozart around almost every corner…Walk through the Mirabell Gardens and see the house where Mozart was born, as well as the cathedral and St. Peter’s Abbey, one of the oldest abbeys in Europe. During your free time you may choose to take the funicular up to the fortress of Hohensalzburg from where you have marvellous panoramic views over the city. Anyone who has ever watched the “Sound of Music” will be thrilled at seeing some of the film locations!
- Landzeit Voralpenkreuz - Coffee break in a countrylike atmosphere of another quality restaurant Landzeit “Country time” on a highway, where we will make a compulsory 30 minutes stop for our coach according to EU law regulations.

A Fantastic Trip - We had an amazing trip. The guides were great, and we learned a lot about Austrian history and culture as well as the stories behind The Sound of Music. The scenery was beautiful, especially the stops in the Alps.

Amazing tour to Salzburg - Had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide was fantastic and was very knowledgeable. We had a beautiful drive through Salzkammergut with stops at Mondsee and St. Gilgen towards Salzburg. The city itself was stunning, will definitely be travelling back to explore more!

An enjoyable trip, informative, well organized. - The tour was very informative, well organized. Our tour guide in Zaltzburg, Natasha was very knowlegeable, articulate and clear. She took us through all the important mile stones of the old city, and on the whole, the tour was enjoyable. The part of visiting the lakes was too short, we just saw rhem from the window, or for a few min out of the bus! On the whole, we enjoyed the trip, and would recommend it to others.

Great way to spend a day! - The annoying parts of my experience were due to the group members, not the guides or the tour company. My one piece of feedback to the tour company is to make the walking tour of Salzburg optional. My friend and I left our walking tour early to allow for more free time, and it was the best decision we made all day! The stops were beautiful, and I loved the city, but offering the walking tour as an option would be better than making it a requirement. Our guide was knowledgeable and very likable. Our bus driver was skilled, and the length of the tour did not feel like too much because of the scheduled stops.

Long day…few hours in Salzburg - Driver told us we what we where we would be stopping on journey. The lake area was stunning but it was just a half hour stop, thought there would be more lake stops. The walking tour a bit rushed and not really any opportunity to stop for good pictures. Tour was in English and Russian even though we booked an English tour so was a little tiresome trying to keep up when the guide kept switching between languages. Not much time in Salzburg itself. If you want longer time there then maybe the train would be an option too as take the same time from Vienna and so you can stretch your legs more often than being stuck in the 8 seater. On the whole I think you are paying most of the money for the actual transport. Just to mention driver does not speak the whole journey so no commentary on where we are driving through etc.

All in all, a good trip - Good trip.
You should have a serious talk with the driver.
He texts while he drives and sometimes both his hands would be off the wheel

Could have been better. - Good scenery 👌 The small van was very cramped and really uncomfortable. The tour guide offered a lot of information, slightly too much. Van was cold . The Tour Operator should have arranged for spare rain coats and/or Umbrellas. Also helps to follow the guide amongst a large crowd in a new city.

Do not book this trip - We had a short time in Vienna and wanted to do a day trip to Salzberg. When we arrived at the meeting point there were not enough places for the English speaking guests in the ‘minivan’ (8 people squished into a small van with blacked out windows so you wouldn’t be able to see the views anyway). They tried to force us into a private car, however we refused as we were very uncomfortable about the small private car - they had clearly overbooked and had no way of accommodating us. We then had to argue with the ‘customer service agent’ who told us things that were clearly untrue before finally they agreed to refund us. Unfortunately we missed out on our day trip to Salzburg due to the lies and incompetence of this company & their so-called 100% refund short changed me as well. More arguments to come. Never ever use this company.
