Long day but worth it! - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and hospitable. Took us to great sights for pictures and we had plenty of of free time to explore Salzburg ourselves. It’s a long day but well worth it!

Breathtaking scenic views - Our guide Wolfgang was fantastic. Full of stories and bits of every day facts that only Austrians would know. He was engaging and answered all our questions. We only had 7 people in our group so it was a nice size. Several short stops along the way. The lakes we saw were all beautiful and broke up the 3 hour ride. Salzburg was well worth the drive. It gives you a perspective of what the rest of Austria is like outside of Vienna. Looking at the Alps along the way was so peaceful. Salzburg on Saturday was incredibly crowded with both tourists and locals due to the. Christkindlmarkt. Beautiful city and only wish we had more time to wander. It was a long day but worth every minute. If you’re a Sound of Music fan, you will see some spots.

Great tour with a great guide - This was a great tour thanks to Robert, the driver and guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable and full of facts about Mozart, The Sound of Music, and all the sites we passed/stopped at.

Wonderful Trip! - Long overdue review for a wonderful trip with amazing tour guides. Beautiful scenery, the route took us thru such lovely countrywide between stops. Wolfgang was knowledgeable and friendly, gave us plenty of space to enjoy and explore at every stop. He kept us entertained on the trip out, and let everyone sleep on the way home after a full day. And I forget the lady's name from the Salzburg walking tour, but she was fantastic as well. I couldn't recommend more highly.

Magical at Christmas! - What an amazing day to see such a beautiful town. This was a great overview of the city, Mozart facts, Sound of Music points of interest, and the magical Christmas markets! This was well worth my money and time.

Don't miss a chance to visit Salzburg! - This was a great tour. Our guide Josef was very knowledgeable, and Salzburg is beautiful. Once arriving there, we had a short tour and then several hours on our own to choose what we wanted to do. We were dropped off at our hotel at the end of the trip.

Lovely intimate tour with a small group - The tour was wonderful! I was debating between this one and another tour when I was getting the tickets but am so glad I went with this tour as it was a small group which made it feel intimate and really special. I saw the other group I was considering while on the trip and it was a large coach with a crowd of people. Josef, our tour guide, was great. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and friendly. Even the rest stop in the morning was really cute and charming which I didn’t expect. My only complaint was we didn’t go to the house used in The Sound of Music movie which I really looking forward to. But otherwise, great all around!

Excellent tour - Excellent trip to lake area & Salzburg. Guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information and stories. During first stop we were given some time to walk around the town and see the famous church- we chose to walk to the lake and took beautiful photos. Second stop at lake area also given some time to walk and take photos. In Salzburg given a detailed tour by our guide and then given free time for lunch, shopping or museums. Highly recommend.
