Outstanding & unforgettable tour! - Our family had the absolute best experience - Lydia was an exceptional guide. Her knowledge, wonderful and engaging personality made this a 10+ for us! The coach was super comfortable and we just couldn’t have enjoyed our day more. I recommend this for any Sound of Music lover!

Fantastic day trip for a solo traveler - I have always wanted to do a 'Sound of Music' tour and this one was fantastic! It was much more personalized than the bigger 'touristy' bus tours and we got to see many cool spots and had time on our own to explore!!

Great, efficient day trip from Vienna - We loved the history associated with the movie but more importantly, Mozart as well. You are able to see where he was born, learn of Salzburg history, and have a comfortable car ride there and back. My boyfriend and I especially loved the Moonbeam stop at the lake. Great for photos, and overall was a great tour. Our guide was amazing! Only con was where we stop for lunch is very over priced, but that has nothing to do with the tour guide / company! Thank you!

Salzburg tour with elements of Sound of Music - The driver and car was great. The guide was lovely and knowledgeable. It was disappointing as the trip was marketed as a sound of music tour - we did see some of the sites where the movie was set, however the tour was more about Salzburg and Mozart. The guide told us where to find the monastery but didn’t take us there.

Fun day to Salzburg from Vienna - Main tour guide was great and very helpful to us about local activities we could do in Vienna after the tour. Salzburg tour guide was great and very knowledgeable but could not hear her 70% of the time. Overall a great value for the money. Really enjoyed going to each location from the movie and watching the movie on the way back to Vienna!

Informative, Comfortable Tour - Lydia was an amazing tour guide! She was very warm and kind to everyone. She was also very informative about the filming of The Sound of Music and the real life story. Also, the tour was on a smaller Mercedes van with air conditioning so very comfortable journey overall. The only thing I’d say is it is a very long day so prepare for that and there is about 20k steps of walking.

Sound of Music Tour???? Don’t expect too much! - We enjoyed seeing the things related to the Sound of Music - 3 in total and not for very long. This was supposed to be a Sound of Music Tour! We didn’t need to be listening to Lydia going on and on about the Von Trapp family. That can be found on google if you are interested in the history of the family at some length. Mozart seem to feature a lot as well. We know about Mozart, his music, his short life and his family history. The tour in Salzburg was a nightmare as there was a festival on unbeknownst to us, but the tour company would have known about this beforehand. We did enjoy seeing the Austrian people dressed up in traditional dress though. Too long a bus trip, too rushed. Definitely not worth the money! I would not recommend this tour to anyone who can’t cope with long bus journeys and can’t walk far. Fortunately we could. We did love Salzburg though and have been there before with Trafalgar. The driver was also good and did not speed thankfully.

Worst part of our trip - It was not at all the experience that was advertised. It felt more like Austrian Trivia instead of a Sound of Music experience. It was the most disappointing part of our trip and I would not recommend it. Waste.
