Embark on a two-hour journey to the illustrious summer abode and gardens once inhabited by the royal family. Be transported to a period of grandeur as you traverse the awe-inspiring display rooms, wander around the stunning baroque gardens, and experience a regal persona for a while. Your guide will help you bypass the long queue to the palace, a celebrated World Heritage Site and one of Austria’s most frequented destinations. In 2018, the palace welcomed 4 million visitors. To ensure an unhindered experience, headphones will be provided to listen to the guide without disruption.

Our tour of the palace and the garden will start at the Ehrenhofbrunnen, that is the first fountain on your right side after you will enter through the big black gate to the grounds of the Schönbrunnpalace. Please look for the tour guide holding a green umbrella. Please be at the meetup location 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled meet up time.

Well worth it! - Our guide was very good at coordinating us thru a very crowded environment. She was especially good at sharing interesting stories in every stop.

Great tour - Had a wonderful time. Our guide Michael was the best. He provided us so much history and detail surrounding not only the palace, but the grounds surrounding, and the history of Austria in general. Excellent time. I highly recommend. I would also request your guide to be Micheal.

A great morning tour - The tour guide Mona Lisa was great. We had a thorough tour of the palace and gardens following. I’d recommend it over just the pre-recorded tour.
I would change the “pin” for the meet-up from the gardens to near the front gate. It was busy with the Christmas market and school children so it was difficult finding the meet-up location.

Well worth the price - Our guide was knowledgeable, unflappable, and resourceful solving issues (dead batteries on receivers, unregistered clients joining the group, etc ). Several times our group needed to delay entrance to another room due to the crowds and she filled the time with more insights and made the transitions seamless. She was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities elsewhere in Vienna.

Good tour of palace. - We enjoyed this tour for the most part. Our guide was knowledgeable and covered the highlights of the palace. However we took the 3pm tour in December and because it gets dark so early the garden part of the tour is very short (it was practically dark when we finished) and while still pretty they are dormant.
Our one complaint was that the meeting place was not clear (especially with Christmas market taking place). There was no place on the grounds map that said “parade grounds” and the staff we asked did not know what that referred to. After running around for 30 mins looking for the right fountains we called the tour company ifficevand were told to meet the guide near Christmas market entrance. AND that the guide would have a green umbrella. That fact was never mentioned in the instructions. Also guide wanted to start 15 mins early and was impatient when we said we needed restrooms before the tour. These are logistical complaints that should be addressed first future tours (content of the tour was good).

Good tour! - I visited with a tour group and my guide was friendly and knowledgeable. regaling us with facts and the history of the palace. I wished we had more time to spend in the palace. Then, our guide took us into the gardens and explained the layout and history. Good experience but I wonder if an audioguide might have been easier and less rushed.

Good tour but meet up location needs to be more clear - The meet up location was not clear, us and two other groups had to search for the guide. The ticket said the fountain and there are 2. After we called and found the group all went well. Knowledgable guide and a good visit.

Good tour but could be better. - Guide provided too much detail for teenaged family members. Spent one hour on outdoor tour then one hour inside the palace. Should do it in reverse so families that have had enough of outdoor tour could leave.
