Must do tour when in Vienna - The tour guide was excellent, had excellent knowledge of the palace and very good English and was easy to understand. Being in a small group was a bonus as we had easy access to our tour guide for questions, etc.

Very Informative - Dace was a wonderful guide - our guide, Dace Schaerf, was amazing and provided a lot of really interesting information. We were very lucky that we went on a Tuesday because it wasn't crowded at all. The palace and grounds are extensive so be prepared to do a lot of walking. Dace knows a great deal about Art History which added to the experience. It was a very hot day and our tour guide was very understanding of the physical limitations of our small group. There were only 8 of us on our tour. I highly recommend taking this tour.

Highly Recommend this tour of Scoenbrunn Palace - Myself, wife and son thoroughly enjoyed the small-group tour and Dace Schaerf was a truly amazing guide, sharing the history of the palace and interesting tidbits. She was patient answering our queries and her sense of humor certainly added to the fun.

Excellent tour - This was a wonderfully presented tour - it was informational, detailed and quite enjoyable. Our tour guide, Dace was terrific- the pace of the tour was just perfect - Dace offered a great amount of detail in a very casual and fun way - we recommend this tour which lasts about 2 1/2 hours if you wish to learn about the palace and the royals from centuries past.

A Lovely Day in Vienna - Ten of us booked two tours with Dace while in Vienna on a Danube River cruise. We had planned to start the day with the City Walking tour, followed by a guided tour of Schonbrunn Palace. Dace had made reservations for lunch at a cafe nearby. But as can happen on a river cruise, we arrived an hour later than planned due to a delay getting through the lock. Dace waited over an hour at the dock for us to arrive. We got off the boat immediately and after introductions we were on our way to the center of the city. Dace had purchased 48 hour transit passes as well as entry tickets to Schonbrunn Palace, so that made it so much easier for all. We spent about 2 1/2 hours strolling the city center. We enjoyed all the sites and the information provided. Since our arrival was delayed, we decided to skip the lunch at the restaurant and just get a quick bite before heading to Schonbrunn Palace. Dace guided us through all the rooms and exhibits. It was so nice to have a guide pointing out and giving us details about what we were seeing, instead of having to wear a headset and listen to a programmed commentary. Having a guide allowed us to ask questions and get more Indepth information. All ten of us thoroughly enjoyed our day with Dace. We recommend doing the city tour on the first day in Vienna. Dace provided us with several tips and recommendations we found highly useful during our Vienna stay. Doing both tours on the same day was good for the majority of us. But a couple of people (with knee problems) were very tired at the end of the day. If you have mobility issues, you might want to split this over two days. Thanks so much Dace for a lovely and interesting day exploring Vienna.

Exceptional tour with exceptional guide - This was an excellent tour with a wonderful guide. Her English was perfect and she had a good sense of humour and told us lots of interesting titbit about the Hapsburgs, not just the historical facts. She also timed it perfectly so we saw the fountains working and saw them turn off at 4pm.Thank you Dace for an amazing experience.

The gardens and palace are glorious - Everything about this place is impressive. We did our own thing and hoped on a train in Vienna. It was very easy to get there and well worth while. We did a carriage ride around the gardens, walked up to the lookout, spent ages in the building which is just so impressive, with great art and furnishings. The ceilings are also super impressive. It was busy but not so busy that you couldn't take your rime and enjoy it, though we did get there early. We also did the carriage museum, that was really lovely with a very extensive collection of carriages.

Palace was packed. Gardens were great & free - We did the palace tour at the allotted time 15:14 (not 15:10 or 15:15). Even so we were swamped at one point by a series of large groups that made it impossible to enjoy the rooms. The gardens in contrast are great to wander around. There is much to see with everything laid out with a purpose of leading the eye to a feature. Get there first thing if you want to enjoy the palace.
