Beautiful Palace, not to lose - Visit to a fabulous palace. First we made a tour of the city passing through the most important Monuments. They gave us countless tips on how to get to some of these points by picking up Metro or Bus. It was very important to me that I was alone and didn't want to lose anything. Gave time to visit the gardens, the Palace and even take a tour of the fabulous Christmas Market. I strongly recommend doing it right on the first day.

Great knowledgeable tour guide - Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We skipped passed the crowd straight into the palace.

How the Hapsburgs influenced all of Europe - Learning about Maria Theresa in the different rooms and how the Hapsburgs expanded their influence by marriage throughout Europe and their interest in the different cultures around the world

Great tour! - Very informative, and quite a sight to see. The enormity of and artistic scale represented was mind boggling. Very impressive.

Vienna palace great - The palace was a stunner.pick up was well described and all well to plan, the drive around town wth live guide was moving quick but gave you an overall experience of the city,perfect for those who were only there for day or 2

Nice experience - The tour was a bit short, we didn't have enough time to go to the garden side. But overall it was great tour with transportation too.

NOT MY CUP OF TEA - Where do I begin? First the good news: The guide inside the palace was what a good guide might be telling the palace's centuries of history in 45 minutes. With all the chaos around brought about by 14k visitors (her info) she managed to do her best under the whirlwind circumstances. I have no complaints about the palace tour. However, the bus tour guide/narrator going around historical places in Vienna was an elderly man who may know all of Vienna's history, but he narrates all that in a flat, low, monotonous voice that people sleep while touring. It is not an exaggeration. He might as well be praying because that is how he sounds. Moreover, he does not give clear instructions. Most (MOST) of us were NOT able to see the palace gardens because when we arrived at the palace, he said we have 45 if we want to use the bathroom or eat. He DID NOT say those 45 minutes included the garden self tour. So, there we were our group of 10 people thinking after the palace tour, there would be a guided garden tour by our guide decrepit as he was. Of course that did not happen!!! I was upset and asked him before I got off the bus "Why is this called the palace and garden tour when most of us did not see the gardens?" He said the 45 minutes after we got off the bus was for the bathroom break AND the garden tour. Finding the bathrooms, paying 1 euro to use it, plus the lines to the bathroom... these can eat 45 minutes easy. If you are to take this tour know that once you get off the bus, either you head for the bathroom and/or get a bite to eat or you do the garden. Your choice! Unless you have superhuman powers you cannot do both. You would be better off buying a ticket by yourself and take all the time in both palace and garden. And oh, there is a bathroom right inside the palace's entrance and it is free. No need to pay one euro. One last very important thing, be very, very sure where your bus is going to be parked and what it looks like because the bus parking lot is very confusing! We did the tour in December 15, 2024. NOT FUNNY. May you have a better bus tour guide and may there be less people when you are there at the palace.
