Stadttempel is a unique experience - The Stadttempel was an incredible experience and Yehudit was very passionate and knowledgeable. Only negative was we arrived for our tour to be told it was cancelled and no one contacted us. We had to make our own arrangements to do the tour the next day. This wasted a lot of time.

The most beautiful synagogue - What a phenomenal experience. The temple is stunning, and its history is fascinating. The guides are great. If you are Jewish, or even if you're not, the tour is well worth it.

A must see - Our guide was amazing and extremely knowledgable. Since he was a native, he was able to share historical information as well as answer all of our many questions about current events. He presentation was perfect for all the different participants of our group. The site itself was very impressive. It was well kept and a true representation from the time.

Historic building with excellent tour - The guided tour gives a good introduction to the building and also the history of Jewish life in Vienna, going back to the 1100s. On the day we went, there was a small group of about 10 people. The tour was guided by a young lady who was well spoken and clear with her facts about the history and the current Jewish community in Vienna. You must book in advance and turn up a bit early to get through the necessary security on the entrance.

A refreshing and historically engaging tour - Our tour guide at Stadttempel was fluent in English and very knowledgeable of the history and symbolism of the building as well as of the Jewish community in Vienna. I am Christian but very interested in other religions, and frankly, it was refreshing to visit a sanctuary in Vienna that wasn't filled with gold and sculpture. I particularly enjoyed learning about the Jewish community in Vienna through the last couple of centuries. I would recommend this tour to my friends and family.

Very interesting tour - Our guide was very well versed in the history of the synagogue as and the Jewish community history of Vienna. Very interesting tour. It would have been helpful to also distribute a map of the Jewish quarter to help us venture around on our own
