Lovely Evening in Vienna - What a lovely evening we had in Vienna! We've been on many food tours and we really enjoyed our time with Patrick. We appreciated his knowledge of Vienna, history, food scene, socio economic current events, and just getting to know his story. He took us to fun and amazing places we would have never been able to find on our own. He said to bring business to businesses outside of the city center. How great is that! Delicious.

Do not miss this - Maria & tour were excellent! - A must-do for a wonderful experience in Vienna - a perfect combination of local foodie insight & general history/info. Maria was truly phenomenal and went above & beyond to make this a fantastic experience for us. All desserts and savory dishes were excellent - and unique places we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. Cannot recommend enough!

Great tour, lot's of info and travel tips, and so many sweets!!! - We were very lucky to get a private tour with the lovely Maria! We had so much fun exploring the city, visiting 4 different districts (traveling by the metro or the tram-train) and tasting different Viennese desserts. Our guide Maria had lot's of information, she took us to some well known Viennese establishments like Café Prückel and Gröissbock, she even helped us select local cheeses in the Naschmarkt, which was on of the stops of the tour. One of the highlights of the tour was the Buchteln (a brioch like pastry filled with plum compot swimming in vanilla cream), we had this in Vollpension which is a coffee house employing elderly citizens who make everything shown on the menu in-house. On our last stop we had a traditional savory dish in Waldviertelhof, and of course for finish another dessert! We were so full by the end of the tour we had to go rest before continuing exploring the city :) Thanks Maria for being so kind and informatiove, we had lots of fun and we will surely recommend people visiting Vienna to check out the tour.

Local flavors- wide reaching. - Maria took us to four separate locations around Vienna via subway or trolley and gave us a nice overview of the different styles of the sections of town and the different desserts. There were about three items to taste at every stop. I would have also liked a stop in a place to purchase high end items that were crafted with highest expertise but this was a tour of the local less touristy cafes. Small group (5 plus host) and decided on savory for our last stop instead of sweet. A down to Earth and satisfying experience and great cozy settings.

It’s all about the sweets & the guide! - This tour was amazing. Maria, our guide, took us to some real gems. We took the metro and trams, which was so helpful for the rest of our stay. The desserts and “late lunch” were delicious. Highly recommend Maria! Great way to start our visit in Vienna!

Coffee, Sweets, and Savories Oh My - Julia provided us an amazing tour! We enjoyed 8 Viennese cakes / pastries (at 3 separate stops), a fantastic stop at a Chocolatier’s shop for amazing sweets, & a savory finish of Schnitzel, Sausage, & beer. Having done foodie tours before, I would say this is a must. You get to visit off the beaten path places - each with their own unique story. Can’t say enough about Julia, who took pictures at each stop and shared recommendations for where to go in Vienna after the tour. This is a great “first day” in Vienna tour as the tour definitely gets you acclimated to the metro. Do not miss this!

Sweets with culture - Bring an empty stomach to the sweets tour. Maria took us outside of the city center to try some tasty treats and get a broader view of the city. We ended the tour with a savory dish. We enjoyed the food and Maria’s expertise.
