Great Klimt exhibit - Loved the Klimt art displays in the palace. I came in November and was a bit sad I couldn’t see the beautiful garden in front of the palace.

Just book it! - It's the same price as the museum, no mark-up. Convenient because we had ours booked/reserved at 10am in viator, when we got there at 10am and checked the ticket booth, the next open slots was at 2pm. So thankful we booked this.

Must do and totally worth it! - The Belvedere museum is exquisite and the second floor permanent exhibit of the Gustav Klimt art is not to be missed. Our only disappointment was that the building is under repairs and renovations and scaffolding hides most of the exterior.

A gem in a city of museums - The collection is more than just The Kiss with impressive works from many artists/genres/eras. It was especially interesting to see works by female artists included to give the visitor a much more rounded view of the progress of art; I hope they do more with this. The special exhibits were also interesting; a shame some are not permanent. The gardens are a joy. And don't ignore the architecture and the interior design. There are hidden treasures in the niches and the ceilings.

Collection from Gothic to Contemporary - Apart from a few rooms that didn’t excite me, the museum has a truly superlative Gothic area, with several religious works from Austria (but also from South Tyrol). Wooden panels with bright and well-lit colors, perhaps the best part. In the rest of the museum Klimt, Schiele and other exponents of the Viennese avant-garde

Nice museum - The museum is located far from the old city. It was a stormy days, so we couldn't see the gardens. First we had to wait on line in the rain to buy entrance tickets. Then we had to wait again in the rain until the time printed on the tickets arrived. I would expect a museum located in a rainy city to have better arrangements. The art was very impressive
