Great views of Vienna - A must trip when in Vienna. The views of Vienna are amazing and this is great photo opportunity. We went to the Prater Amusement park to ride the Ferris wheel and were shocked by the size of the site and the amount of amusements. Nice coffee too.

Great views. - A great experience. Only 14 euro. Takes 10 to 15 minutes. Views of Vienna are superb. The ride is gentle. Situated in the Prater .

Pleasant surprise - Went in the morning when there was no que. Great view of the city and surprisingly high. The Wheel stops for boarding/off-boarding giving you plenty of time to see the city around you. Nice display areas before going on the actual wheel. If the weather is nice recommend! Careful with the photos, they take pictures before going on and you don't even realizes they are trying to sell you something. At first it seems they are there to let you in.

Once in a lifetime - Definately one in a lifetime -experience. If you are a fan for ferris wheels, please take your time and go there, enjoy the atmosphere and history. If you really love ferris wheels, maybe you should book a dinner there - it is possible!

Lovely ride on the oldest ferris wheel - Time your visit so you arrive just before the sun goes down, as you’ll likely have a wait before you can board. That way, you’ll experience the ride in the day and finish when it’s dark. Prater looks cool when it is lit up at night, though the views from the top are great during the daytime.

Nice ride - We were there on a stormy day, so it was less fun than it could have been. If you're in the Prater also for other attractions then this is a nice addition, but I wouldn't come to the Prater just for the wheel

Ferris wheel again and again - You have to ride the Ferris wheel several times in your life. Once as a child, then with your own children and later perhaps with your grandchildren. The joy doesn't go away!

The Viennese Big Wheel! - On discovering the Prater amusement park on our long walking tour around Vienna we went in search of the famous Big Wheel. We were surprised by how big the whole park was and it took us quite some time to eventually find it. It is as impressive as we had been lead to believe when looking at all the tourist brochures of Vienna etc. Regrettably my wife is scared of heights so we didn't take a ride on this even though we understand that you get some great views of the city from the top.

Beautiful view of the whole city - We booked a combined ticket with Madame Tussauds, which was then fully justifiable for us. Already the ante-hall, which is scheduled for queuing on fuller days, was very entertaining and attractively designed. The Prater was not very busy that day so we also had plenty of space in the Ferris wheel to look around in all directions. The view of the city was very nice. The only criticism: during our visit it was over 30 degrees Celsius outside, so it was really warm in these Ferris wheel gondolas.
