Lovely experience - Even though I'm from Vienna, I have never been to the ferry wheel yet. It was about time to pay a visit, and I rather enjoyed this adventure. However, the waiting time was over an hour and it was quite cold. However, their bathroom was clean and tidy.

Giant Wheel - We ride the giant wheel every time we come to Vienna. It never gets old. So beautiful from the top. We will do it again next time we are here

City break - Great and unique experience as this is the oldest and largest ferris wheel in Europe We did this at night when the park was lit up and had Xmas stalls Highly recommend

Fantastic! - Wonderful! Reasonable price, fast entry and they don’t fill the carriages to the brim allowing lots of space and room to move around carriage. Choice to have pictures was a nice touch and views priceless

Nice ride - We were there on a stormy day, so it was less fun than it could have been. If you're in the Prater also for other attractions then this is a nice addition, but I wouldn't come to the Prater just for the wheel

Ferris wheel again and again - You have to ride the Ferris wheel several times in your life. Once as a child, then with your own children and later perhaps with your grandchildren. The joy doesn't go away!

Better views elsewhere - Respecting its historical value & significance of course but we didn't think it was that good value for money. Our experience was slightly jaded with having to share the carriage with a family who had a big push chair which blocked one side of the view along with the baby who was sadly unsettled and crying a lot. So bare in mind you will share with up to 10 other people. Additionally you only do one rotation (most wheels will do one pick up rotation & then one full uninterrupted one) and the wheel itself obstructs some of the views. Still it was a clear view today & it goes give you a different perspective of the city. The Danube Tower offers the best views of Vienna for a fee and the views from the hill at the Schönbrunn Palace offer the best views for free! Book tickets online for direct entry rather than having to queue for the ticket booth which was around a 45min wait this morning.

Disappointing! - We went all the way to this place as we had heard so much about this but it was one disappointing experience. We went in be evening time as many people said that you can see Vienna by the evening. This costs 14€ per person. It was so slow as people keep climbing and getting on and it gives exactly one round. You are right on top for hardly any time and you discover nothing extraordinary. Waste. There will be many more places in Vienna where you can see everything from the top and looks beautiful. This did nothing for us.

Complete waste of money and time - The Ferris wheel “ride” consists practically only of waiting periods for the boarding of other tourists and amounts to exactly one much stop and little go round. Absolutely dispensable.
