The tour was incredible - The tour was incredible. The guide was very nice, giving us all the attention we needed. He had extensive knowledge of their culture and local attractions. The driver was also attentive and competent. The restaurant they took us to for lunch was wonderful. We also returned later. We highly recommend the tour.

Nice city and people - It was incredibly affordable to rent a private van or car during my visit. I traveled with my best friend in nov 2023, and everything was remarkably peaceful. We cherished the tranquility and love embedded in the local culture. The people, with their warm smiles, provided excellent service, especially our driver for the day. The proficiency of the locals in speaking English made our experience even more enjoyable. They graciously recommended places for us to visit, offering insights even for first-time visitors to the capital of Laos. While it may not have the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, Laos has its unique charm—peaceful, beautiful, and distinct in its own style. I have a deep appreciation for both cultures.

Good 1 day tour of Vientiane area... -
Good 1 day tour of Vientiane area. Our guide Bon did a nice job. After this tour you have seen almost everything in the area, except for the newer temples throughout the city. Some are quite beautiful. Buddha Park is interesting, but smaller than expected. Lunch restaurant was a very nice, upscale place. Several excellent local dishes.

Nice day, just not worth the price - Was a nice day, however definitely not with $150 PER PERSON. Better off booking when you arrive in Vientiane. The driver and tour guide were both lovely and as we requested took us to a beautiful local restaurant (we bought them lunch and coffees rather than a tip) the tour finished at 2pm rather than 4:30. Nice day, but if you are price conscious you can do the entire tour on your own using tuk tuks.. it’s quite easy to get around Vientiane.

Good guide Tour in Vientiane - Long enough to see the highlights in Vientiane area. For the visit to the Buddha park good guide is required to get explanation of all the differant objects in this park

visit it, not much else to do in capital - a pretty concrete arch with access to top, extra steps to tip top. views of city are not spectacular. could not see the Mekong River. tourist shops inside. fairly run down and needs fresh paint.

Avoid - No-show. Didn’t reply to emails, messages or phone calls. Avoid this company. Very disappointing. Never again.

Bad company! - Our guide was definitely 5* but the company itself was a laugh. They didn't turn up on the date of the booking. And after trying to get in contact with them they finally said they could do the tour the day after. If it wasn't paid already or we could get a refund we would had booked with someone else...

Avoid Bravo Indochina Tours - I made a booking a couple days in advance and on the morning of the tour the driver did not show up. I called the booking company (Bravo Indochina Tours, based in Ho Chi Minh City) and was then told the driver would only be able to come 3.5 hours after my booking! I cancelled and requested a refund. I then researched the booking company's reviews online and saw that the company has a history of no shows. We eventually did a self-guided tour of the city at our own pace. Vientiane is a small and delightful place so a city tour is highly feasible on foot or with tuk tuks.
