- Vientiane - After being picked up by our tuk tuk, we’ll take you for one of our favourite sweet snacks kao larm (sticky rice and coconut snack roasted in bamboo tubes). You’ll see how this delicious snack is made with one of the most famous kao larm cooks in Laos and of course get to sample some too! Visit a local fresh food market to check out…

Visit a local fresh food market to check out the amazing diversity of Lao food, then stop by a Lao coffee shop to try some of the local brew.
Then sneak a peek into the workshop of a family-run silversmith producing intricate traditional and modern pieces. See how these pieces are formed and how this traditional craft is being continued in the family. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a secret Lao restaurant hidden down a residential lane-way, popular with both locals and expats.
- Vientiane - After lunch head off to the COPE Visitor Centre where you will get to know more about the ongoing challenges with unexploded ordinance (UXO) that Lao people face on a daily basis. Learn about the amazing and inspirational activities that support people affected by UXOs. Then it’s time to go to temple where you’ll learn to make mak bengand pasaat peung, traditional Lao Buddhist banana leaf and wax flower offerings to take to Wat Simueang, one of the city’s most popular local temples, and learn more about Lao Buddhist traditions.
