We begin our journey from your place of stay, setting a course for Western Serbia.

After a journey of two and a half hours, we will arrive at “The House on the Drina,” a secluded log house situated on a river rock.

Leaving the house behind, we’ll proceed on our schedule just in time to board the renowned Sargan Eight sightseeing train. (The train only runs from April to November) This unique narrow-gauge railway now serves purely for recreational purposes. As we traverse, we’ll halt at several viewing points offering breathtaking vistas over Mokra Gora.

Post an almost two and a half hour ride, we’ll return to the originating station from where our expedition moves on to the nearby Mećavnik, or Drvengrad (Wooden City). This place was conceived by acclaimed director Emir Kusturica (two-time Palme D’Or winner at Cannes) during the making of his movie “Life is a miracle.”

Following the meal, we’ll make our way back to Belgrade, reaching by late afternoon.
