Hanoi – Ninh Binh Day Tour – Hotel Overnight (L/D)

Old Quarter - Guests will be picked up at hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area. The guide will arrive at the hotel, confirm the guest’s name with the receptionist, and then transfer them to Ninh Binh Province, including a short break along the way.

Bai Dinh Pagoda - Visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the most renowned and largest pagoda in Southeast Asia, known for its many records such as 500 Stone Arhat Statues, a 36-ton bronze Bell, and a 100-ton Buddha Statue. Guests will follow the guide to explore the pagoda and learn more about Buddhism in Vietnam. Bai Dinh Pagoda in Ninh Binh Province is one of the most esteemed religious sites in Vietnam. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant featuring a variety of local dishes such as goat meat, fish, chicken, and fried rice. Vegetarian options are always available in the buffet lunch.

Trang An Landscape Complex - After lunch, guests will visit Trang An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An boasts a magnificent tunnel cave system, which was chosen by Kong’s Movie Group for the 2016 film “Skull Island.” The Trang An boat tour is a top activity for travelers in Ninh Binh, offering a peaceful boat trip to admire numerous caves and temples.

Mua Caves - Guests will then return to the Limousine Bus and head to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). After climbing nearly 500 steps, they will reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc. Mua Caves, also known as Hang Múa in Vietnamese, is celebrated for its stunning natural beauty and is often referred to as “The Great Wall of Vietnam” or “Tam Coc’s Muse.” It is considered the most beautiful viewpoint in Ninh Binh, Vietnam.

At the end of the day, guests will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. They can rest and have dinner at the hotel, enjoy free time to explore the local area, and stay overnight in Ninh Binh.

Ninh Binh to Halong & Lan Ha Bay Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)

Tam Coc - 6:45 - 7:00: After breakfast, guests will check out of their room in the hotel/bungalow. A shared limousine bus will pick them up from their accommodation in Ninh Binh and transfer them to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise (no guide during transfer). The drive to Halong Bay takes about 4 to 4.5 hours.

Halong Bay - At 11:30 AM: Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, Ha Long Bay, guests will be welcomed by the receptionist at the cruise’s waiting lounge and check into their room. Lunch will be served at the cruise restaurant. The luxury cruise will then depart for a voyage to discover Lan Ha Bay.

Lan Ha Bay - This is a sample itinerary for luxury overnight cruises in Halong Bay: Cruise from Halong Bay to Lan Ha Bay, which is less touristy, passing amazing islands and islets. Guests can enjoy kayaking in pristine areas of Lan Ha Bay, swimming in tranquil lagoons, and relaxing onboard while watching the sunset. In the evening, there will be a cooking class (making Vietnamese spring rolls), followed by dinner with delicious local foods on the boat. Entertainment options include squid fishing, karaoke, dancing, bar services, and fun games. Guests will stay overnight on the cruise.

Lan Ha Bay - Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L)

Lan Ha Bay - Start the day with an early morning Tai Chi session on the deck to focus the mind and condition the body. Enjoy a light breakfast while taking in the stunning views of the bay and its dramatic limestone islets. Guests will have free time to kayak and explore the landscape in Lan Ha Bay. After returning to the boat, they will finish the trip with a hearty brunch while the ship sails back to the harbor. At 11:00, guests will disembark at the harbor, with hopes that they have enjoyed their time and wishes for a safe onward journey. They will wave goodbye to the boat from the harbor and return to Hanoi, arriving in the late afternoon around 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. This marks the end of the 2-day, 1-night package.

Halong Bay - The boat will cruise past Halong Bay. Ha Long Bay in Vietnam is a renowned tourist destination located on the west coast of the Gulf of Tonkin. With thousands of magnificent islands and many nearby attractions, the bay is a favorite destination for many tourists.
