A narrow road leads to this area, revealing a hidden valley with mountains, jungle, plains, and a lake that mirrors the Angel Eye.

Thang Hen Lake is situated in Quoc Toan Commune, Tra Linh District, 30km north of Cao Bang. The lake comprises 36 large and small lakes on high peaks, thousands of meters above sea level. The main lake is diamond-shaped, 300 meters wide and 1,000 meters long. It is a stunning lake among the rocky mountains.

Ban Gioc Waterfall is formed from a section of the Quay Son River at the border between Vietnam and China, divided into two parts, the main waterfall and the secondary waterfall. Viewed from the base of the waterfall, the left waterfall and the western half of the right waterfall belong to Vietnam’s territory in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province; the eastern half of the right waterfall belongs to China’s territory. This is a must-visit location when traveling to Cao Bang.
