Great trip to see main Ninh binh sites - Really loved this tour. You got a nice mix of history and then stunning scenery. It was also really handy being taken from site to site and Henry, our guide, was full of information! We were staying in Ninh Binh so had as long as we wanted at the last stop which was ideal to explore it all and chill at the top for sunset

A glimpse of Vietnam and its ancient history - Yesterday, we went on a Ninh Binh tour, guided by Alan and Tom, our driver. Our guide, Alan, was super funny and interactive, making the whole trip engaging despite the heavy historical content. He made the history of Vietnam easy to digest and very interesting to learn. We weren't expecting much from the historical aspect, but it was indeed very insightful to learn about the country's past. Kudos to Alan for that. The food at the buffet lunch was delicious, with plenty of options for those who aren't into meat. The itinerary was interesting as well. This tour is definitely worth booking!

Great tour - The nature is truly breathtaking!!! The boat tour is great. At the last stop you can expect a lot of stairs. You should be physically fit.

Amazing! - Our tour guide, Binh, was cool and funny. Thank you, Binh! Thankful that I learned a lot on this tour. I booked the day before the tour and was still accommodated. I'm thankful that there's an option to start the tour in Ninh Binh because you can stay behind at the end of the tour for as long as you like to leisurely climb up the Ngoa Long mountain and stay there to watch the sunset (I literally stayed there for 3 hours).

You’ve got to do this! Best tour in all of Vietnam! - You have got to do this trip! We booked the private tour and our tour guide was Binh, he was the best tour guide that we had on our whole trip to Vietnam, so much information, comedy, flexibility and we couldn’t have asked for anymore! Binh was really flexible all day and came with us for all the experiences as well which we loved, have the private car and private tour was also a must, like I said you have got to do this trip and request Binh to be your tour guide!

Day Tour in Ninh Binh - The view are so beautiful during the 2hr boat ride in Tam Coc. The food in buffet lunch are so good, there are many options to eat.

Just ok - Food is not that good..and water not provide with the meal, price of water 3+ times regular price....

The old capital is overrated and the hike was to late in the afternoon - The old capital is nothing special, overcrowded and the building is dirty. You have nicer buildings in the neighbourhood. The boat ride was nice. It is not good to climb over a 750 steps at the warmest time of the day. It is up and and down. et varen was leuk.

Wish I hadn’t gone - I regret taking this tour - it was unbelievably hot, and we didn’t get to learn about the historic sights. I’ve never heard my father complain, and he called the tour “horrible”. Get yourself an experienced guide for this one. We passed so many interesting sights with no explanation, no entry, so many nice resting spots only to find ourselves standing/waiting in the hot sun while our guide recited what little he had on his papers. What is the point of a guide?
