At 8:00am, our guide and driver will meet you at your lodgings in Hoi An or Da Nang city. We’ll journey through the Hai Van Pass, pausing briefly for a photo opportunity at the summit.

Upon reaching Hue, we’ll explore the Citadel, the city’s premier sightseeing spot. This area encompasses the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the domicile of the Emperor. Hue is renowned as the Imperial City of the Nguyen Dynasty, who brought it to prominence during their rule from 1803 to 1945.

Following our Citadel exploration, we’ll make our way to the Thien Mu Pagoda. Of note is a vehicle once owned by a monk, who drove himself to Saigon in 1963 and self-immolated in protest of the South Vietnamese government. Subsequently, we’ll indulge in a peaceful 30-minute boat trip on the Perfume River, followed by a local lunch. Post-lunch, we’ll venture to the Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, a marvel of feng-shui architecture that harmonizes with its environment. We’ll then wrap up the tour and transport you back to your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang city.
