One of the most amazing day tours - We did a private tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels And Mekong Delta with Sara. What an incredible day! We started at 7 a.m. with hotel pickup and went to the Cu Chi Tunnels first thing. We really did beat the crowd and Sara kept us moving so we stayed ahead of it. She had fantastic information about the Cu Chi Tunnels and pointed out key things so it was a great experience. This part of the visit in it of itself was amazing. Then things got even better. We went then to the Mekong Delta and enjoyed at boat ride to our first stop which was lunch at a fancy restaurant on the river. After lunch Sara went through the process for creating candy. Then we took the boat over to the Unicorn Island where we visited a bee keepers house and a tropical garden. From there we took a golf cart around the island and then a paddle boat through some tributaries back to the bigger boat. On the bigger boat was coconut water in a coconut waiting for us. Things just got better and better with this trip. Sara was a fantastic guide. She had great time management, good knowledge, took great photos and was fun to hang out with. We would highly recommend this tour. It is doable to do both locations in a day with this tour!

Private guide and vehicle. - Firstly I want to say our guide (Jordan) was brilliant. He was fluent in English, friendly and engaging. He was knowledgeable on the places that we visited, but also giving lots of additional information, giving us a wider insight in to Vietnamese history and culture. We would not have received the same service had we booked a coach trip. Worth paying the small difference. The driver was also very good in the fact that you felt safe. It was a long day, to see both sites in one day, but worth doing. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and Jordan the guide.

Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta 1Day - We didn’t anticipate this being a private tour (it had been advertised as max of 10 people), but it was just me and my friend, plus our tour guide and driver. The shuttle bus was well air-conditioned, which is important! The tunnels are a must-see, and the Mekong Delta didn’t disappoint either. Lunch (a set menu) was excellent and included in the price. We also stopped at a local factory in HCM that makes art - there is pressure (though no 100% expectation, per se) for you to buy something, but the art is all beautiful and they show how it is made from egg shells and sea shells by hand. Our guide was Tony Lee - he was great, funny, spoke decent English and overall made it a really good day. His knowledge of the tunnels and their history in particular was very good. Highly recommend Tony as a tour guide. Overall this was a very good day value-for-money-wise. The only “required” additional expenses on top of the up-front price are tips to some of the staff along the way (we totaled 300,000 dong).
