Day 1: Ha Giang City – Heaven Gate – Lung Tam Village - Yen Minh - Dong Van Town
Ha Giang Province - The tour begins at 8:00 am at our office in Ha Giang City. Our tour guide and driver will provide a safety briefing for riding on the motorbike and explain the detailed itinerary for the 2-day tour.
On the first day, our Ha Giang Easy Riders Team driver will guide you through some of the most impressive scenery, featuring spectacular landscapes and breathtaking views. As we drive into the mountains and navigate the winding roads, we will ascend Pac Sung Pass, which is over 1000 meters above sea level. Here, you will notice a cooler temperature and can enjoy the panoramic view from the top, taking pictures and perhaps enjoying some coffee.
Yen Minh - After taking in the view from Pac Sum Pass, you will hop back on the motorbike. The Ha Giang Easy Riders Team will drive through limestone mountains and villages, offering beautiful scenery along the way. We will arrive at Heaven Gate, where you can marvel at the amazing landscape and the vast, deep valley. After enjoying the view, our riders will take you down to the hidden village of Lung Tam, home to the Dao Minority people. Here, you will have the chance to visit a local family.
We will continue driving past Quang Ba to the town of Tam Son, where you will start to see the impressive rock limestone mountains marking the beginning of the Karst Plateau Geopark. We will stop at a viewpoint to have lunch, where you can admire the beautiful terraced rice paddies before dining at a local restaurant.
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - After lunch, we will continue to Dong Van. On the way, you will see terraced rice fields, numerous limestone rocks, and magnificent views, as well as hidden villages in the valley. You will get a taste of rural north Vietnamese countryside life. Our riders will also take you to the Chinese border and the famous northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam. Before heading to Dong Van town, we will stop at the residence of the Vuong family, known as the “Hmong King palace.” The trip will then continue to Dong Van town, where you will stay overnight at a hotel. After dinner, you can explore Dong Van ancient town’s nightlife.
Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Yen Minh - Ha Giang City
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - After breakfast at 8:00 am, we will check out of the room and say goodbye to the host. Our trip will continue to visit the most beautiful landscapes of the day, driving through Happy Road, Ma Pi Leng Pass, and seeing the Nho Que River.
Ma Pi Leng Pass - Leaving Dong Van Town, our motorbike rider will take you to the most beautiful part of the journey, Ma Pi Leng Pass, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac. This legendary pass is known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views. It is the most rugged pass in the north, often called the “king” of passes in Vietnam. The road winds through cliffs and reaches an altitude of 2,000 meters at Ma Pi Leng Pass. To showcase the pass’s full beauty, we will ride down the Sky Path to admire the valley and Nho Que River. From the mountain viewpoint, you can experience a 360° view and take unforgettable pictures. Standing at the peak, you will be overwhelmed by the majestic mountains and rivers.
Ha Giang Province - After the pass, we will take another road back to Ha Giang, passing M slope and Mau Due valley, and stopping at a local restaurant for lunch. We will continue driving through equally beautiful landscapes as the first day. From Yen Minh, the route takes us back to Ha Giang City. Along the way, you will see different cultures and hill tribes, such as the H’mong tribe, recognizable by their beautiful clothes. You will be impressed by the stunning views, fascinating country life, and beautiful cultures. The entire trip is a rewarding experience that will provide life-long memories. The tour will end around 5:00 pm, and you will wait for the sleeper bus to pick you up at 8:30 pm to take you back to Hanoi.
