Its architectural structures, between the ancient and the modern, are perfectly integrated into the environment of the natural park in which it resides. This distinctive collection features approximately 80 displayed aircraft, ranging from the Blèriot to the Austro-Hungarian Lohner seaplane, and extending to hydroplanes. Vigna di Valle aviation museum is renowned for having the largest exhibit of hydroplanes, inclusive of the Macchi MC.72, a seaplane speed record holder maintaining an average velocity over 709 km/h. The exhibition further showcases the IMAM Ro.37 and Ro.43, the FIAT G.212, FIAT’s final multi-engine production, the SIAI SM.82 and the CANT Z.506, both operating within Vigna di Valle’s Air Rescue Service. Additionally, early post-war jets along with the current, particularly focusing on international missions, the National Aerobatic Team, Italian Air Force helicopters, and paratroopers are also featured.
