Go see the glaciers before they are gone! - Great glacier tour! Had a great time with our guide who was very knowledgeable about the area! Wish I could go again!

Astonishing, Amazing, frightful, one in a million adventures - Impressive nature, great guidance, what an epic experience, even the drive through the deep snow was an experience.

Way better than the volume tours - Everything about this was awesome. Our guide, the experience, the relatively small group, the equipment, the attention to safety, and the little details like the photos, the icicle “popsicles”, and the history of the area. One of our favorite experiences anywhere.

Unforgettable experience, It felt more like a friend to friend tour! - We had an unforgettable experience exploring the ice caves with Katla Expeditions! Our guide, Bjoern, was fantastic—entertaining, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He encouraged us to ask all sorts of questions, not just about the glacier but also about life in Iceland, Christmas traditions, and even Icelandic music. It felt more like a friendly conversation than a tour! The enthusiasm and friendliness extended to the desk staff as well, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour—it's a perfect mix of adventure, learning, and fun!

Great ice cave experience! - We enjoyed this tour very much - there was plenty to see en route, and we had a good amount of time for exploring and taking pictures at the glacier. Our guide was knowledgeable and a great driver!

So magical! - Fantastic, once in a lifetime adventure! The katlatrack drivers/guides were so capable in the most insane weather. We had complete trust. Johannes was wonderful. We did the first trip of the morning, which was great. By the time we were leaving, there were loads of other groups coming in. It was a virgin glacier for us.

Wonderful experience! - The drive was already an experience by itself, being off-road, with no-one around, enjoying nature. We hiked towards the ice cave through snow with mountains and ice around us. The cave was special to see, but the overall experience was great. Our guide shared his knowledge and Icelandic music with us. Our 6y old enjoyed it as well (just not the occasional hard, icey wind) and the tour was well doable for him too.

An unforgettable trip! Great value for money. - We chose the Ice Cave Tour which was not the Fast Track. It took 4 hours and included a trip onto one of the black beaches. What a fantastic experience! A massive thank you to Rafal, our guide, you made it so special. Memories made, which we will never forget.

Fast track cave experience! - The experience was awesome. Started meeting point at the pizzeria which is a bonus point. Then proceed with an off-road drive in the big jeep to the cave for around 1 hrs. Despite the crazy weather, the view was breathtaking, learned a lot about glaciers and caves and global warming and the guide (I think his name is John) was so nice to my 11 yo son. He offered to take pictures of all the participants and was so patient with us. If I have to mention this, probably need to fix his mic speaker. But overall, awesome!

View from inside the ice! - Super fun way to get inside the ice! Davis was a wonderful, personable guide, crampons provided, which made the trekking safe and easy, and amazing to see these caves before they disappear.
