Time of My Life - Had the time of my life on this tour! I travelled solo along the south west coast for a week and while there were MANY highlights this one was among the top. Our guide, Vallou (sp?) was THE BEST. He made the tour so special with his zest for life, knowledge and stories, demonstrations and humor. The tour itself was a gem but Vallou made it even more special. Highly recommend!

Go for it!! A Fun, Informative, Exciting Excursion - What a fun time!!! Our tour guide, Daniel, had us rocking to Viking music during the exciting 1-hour ride to the glacial caves!! We then stopped for photo ops before heading to the cave. This tour is well worth your money!! It was informative, a great time, and connected you to one of Iceland's wonders.

Helge was a great tour guide! - Helge was the best tour guide! It was great to have a native tour guide! Helge was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the glacier. He was also a pleasure to be around and never stopped smiling. Great tour with an awesome guide!

Great guide, interesting tour - Our guide, Alex was knowledgable and friendly. The glacier landscape was stunning and the ice cave was really interesting. I would have preferred if some of the geological explanation was done inside as it was very cold to be standing outside! Overall I enjoyed the tour and on the way back Alex played some great Icelandic music for us and we drove along the black sand beach, which was really cool.

Disappointed - Very Disappointed in this tour for the price we paid! We had a 3hr tour to Katla Ice cave. Most of the tour consisted in the travel to and from the glacier in the 4wd. We spent a very short amount of time actually on the glacier and were very limited in how long we could stay at the cave areas due to other tour groups. There were points on the tour when the guide would just stop and have a chat to another operator, if it wasn’t for that the tour would be over even quicker, they were just killing time. The pictures used in advertising were of older ice caves with exquisite colours that no longer exist so it created higher expectations which definitely were not met. For the price we paid this tour was definitely Not Worth It!!
