• Hjorleifshofoi - Hjorleifshofdi is on Myrdalssandur to the South of the Katla glacier.

This place is full of great history and we love to tell you the stories of the old, of the first settler that came ashore here. We also visit the Hjorleifshofdi Cave, commonly known as the Yoda Cave.
And last but certainly no the least we drive towards the ocean, to a deserted black sand beach away from the crowds.

On arrival at the glacier’s base, tucked in the heart of the Icelandic wilderness, we will wander ice caves and do a bit of glacier hiking. Next, we drive to Hjorleifshofdi, an abandoned black sand beach.
