Pull on your trekking shoes, because the Sólheimajökull glacier in the southern part of Iceland is waiting for you! This is a detailed glacier expedition, where you will gain knowledge about these huge natural wonders from your guide and get all the essential gear to exercise in total comfort and security. You’ll grasp the fundamental skills of ice climbing, and ascend the sheer walls of crevasses on the Sólheimajökull glacier.
To guarantee the group’s safety, each guide is assigned no more than 6 individuals.

Climbing - Glacier hiking was fantastic. Louis has guided us very well. The view was fantastic and climbing with the irons was also a very nice experience

Highlight of our holiday to Iceland! - This was my favourite part of our trip to Iceland! I was a little hesitant to book with the price, but it was completely worth it. You are supplied with appropriate shoes for the ice crampons so just bring stuff to keep you warm! Our guide Luis made the experience very enjoyable and he was very knowledgeable about the glacier and Iceland in general. Got to do two climbs in two different areas and then some exploration of the glacier. No previous experience needed and couldn't recommend this trip highly enough. Got some very cool photos and was an unforgettable experience!

An adventure to remember - This tour is a must for everyone with a love for nature and action but it was our guide Marco who made this a tour to remember. His enthusiasm for mountains and the forces of nature could be felt from start to end. Thank you again for sharing it with us!

Fantastic Ice Climbing Experience! - My partner and I recently partook in the glacier walk and ice climbing at Solheimajokull. The whole experience was smooth and without any hiccups. We were given all the gear, had a lovely hike to the base of the glacier and then began our ascent up and into the glacier. It was gorgeous - I couldnt believe how beautiful the whole area was. Vibrant green moss-covered mountains with waterfalls, icebergs in the glacier lagoon, and the glacier itself with its deep blues. Our French guide Kevin was fantastic - so knowledgeable about the glacier and extremely friendly. We felt safe the whole time and had a blast. A highlight of our trip. Would recommend!

Great adventure for all of us. - This was so fun. My husband was thx most skeptical and a little fearful of it but ended up being the best at it! My teenage boys (14 and 16) loved it, It was a fun and thrilling experience.

All in one your of a glacier - Great experience that is friendly for entire family. Our guide Kevin did a great job making us feel welcomed. You get all the gear and you do a hike, then some education of glacier, sip some glacier water, maybe apply a mud mask, and climb a cliff! Nice mix of a tour!

Best moment of our trip - We’ve done the climbing expedition at Sólheimajökull with Elias as a guide (best guide ever, we lived moments which will forever in our memories!). Great trip - Ondrej was an amazing guide who told us all about the glacier and was patient with us in a way to make sure that we enjoyed every moment. Hike was beautiful and ice climbing was a great time for my wife and myself. Highly recommend especially if you can get Ondrej as a guide, he made a great experience even better.
