Setting Off on a Family Adventure

As a travel writer and a mother of three, I am always on the lookout for experiences that can captivate both adults and children alike. When I heard about the Sagres Sunset Tour in Vila do Bispo, I knew it was something I had to experience with my family. The highlight of our tour was undoubtedly the visit to Cape Saint Vincent, known as the “old end of the world.” Standing at the edge of the cliffs, we were treated to a mesmerizing light show as the sun began to set. Although the sun was hidden behind clouds, the sky was painted with hues of pink and orange, creating a magical atmosphere.

Antonio offered us a glass of Port Wine and a Pastel de Nata, a traditional Portuguese pastry, as we took in the view. It was a moment of pure bliss, and I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with my children. As we made our way back to the hotel, the kids were already talking about their favorite parts of the tour, and I knew that this adventure would be a cherished memory for years to come.
