Assisted by your guide, you’ll delve into the lore and mysteries behind Portuguese desserts. Our main focus will be on creating the Pastel de Nata, but our discussion will encompass a broad range of pastries and culinary topics.
- R. do Pilar 80 - Learn how to make the famous “Pastel de Nata”, so that you can return home and enjoy the traditional Portuguese pastries made by you.
While learning how to bake traditional pastries, you can taste a regional wine and learn about Portuguese culture and history through a gastronomic conversation.
Once it’s ready, it’s time to enjoy the learning results with some warm pastries!
In this experience, the host will give the participants the opportunity to alternately participate in the different phases of making the pastel de nata. If you want to participate in all stages of the making, please contact us for a private session.

- We recommend families with kids to request a private tour. Any behavior, from kids or adults, that interferes with the experience normal functioning will not be tolerated.
- For safety reasons, the guide will not allow children to participate in certain stages, even if their guardians claim that they are capable of doing so, even if it’s a private tour.
- The workshop kitchen door will open 15 minutes before and close 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Access will not be allowed to participants who arrive outside this time period, as it affects the logistics and quality provided, and no exceptions will be made.
