Once the pastries are ready, participants can relish the fruits of their labor with some freshly baked delights!
During this experience, the host will guide participants through the various stages of making the pastel de nata, allowing them to take turns in the process.
The tour commences at the designated time without exceptions, and for logistical reasons, late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
This tour is not designed for children. Children under 12 years old, or those who cannot reach the counter, will not be permitted to participate.

An absolute must if you come to Porto - This was such an amazing experience and our cooking guide made it so much fun. Wine, pastry, custard, laughter and more wine. Anna was great and the other guests were fun to be with too. This is a must do experience and my wife and I can't wait to get home and start making these. It was interactive with everyone participating to make the pastel de nata.

Fun and learned a lot. - Enjoyed the class and the eating! I learned a lot about baking in general (pastry in particular) and highly recommend for travelers to Portugal!

Expectations met - All my questions about making natas were answered by this excellent instructor. Everyone got hands on time and the reward of tasting this wonderful pastry they had made. I kept thinking if this is example of Viator’s stable of instructors and events I’d happily and confidently sign up for more classes.

Pastel de Nata class in Porto - We had a blast making Pastel de Natas with Ana. She made the class so much fun and gave us a lot of information about Porto. Kitchen facility and atmosphere was great, and the group size was perfect.

Baking Pastel de Nata, Learning about Green Wine, and Eating a Delicious Dessert - Ana was our chef and teacher. She was fun, funny, engaging and presented the class very well. She explained specifics about making Pastel de Nata and told us how to make or use frozen puff pastry as well. She included everyone in the making of the dessert and we enjoyed hearing about the other participants from Germany, England and fellow Americans from Ohio. We truly enjoyed the break from our walking and Port wine tours. I would highly recommend this class.

Such a fun class! - Such a fantastic class! I had this booked for me through a travel company, and it was one of the highlights of my trip, and it was on my Birthday! The kitchen space was gorgeous. Ana was our instructor and she was just awesome; she was funny and witty and made our group feel very welcome. She even had the group sing me happy birthday and lit me a tea light to blow out at the end, which was so nice! It was an joy to learn how to make the pastels, and they provide a PDF at the end so you can make them at home. Highly recommend!
