Marina da Afurada - Our sunset adventure begins at Pontoon C of Marina da Afurada and continues towards the unforgettable historic area of Ribeira and Cais de Gaia. Once here, it’s time to discover more about the city of Porto, a task that our crew will be happy to share with you. Toast to the taste of a good Douro wine of your choice and take the opportunity to photograph in a unique setting.

Meanwhile, we reverse our course towards the sea, passing through the protected area of the Douro estuary and the beautiful old mouth of Porto with its unmistakable palm trees. And ever closer to the bubbling of the sea, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and whenever there are conditions for navigation, we touch the waves of the sea, taking our visitors to experience the magical sensation of immensity that only the sea is capable of making us feel. With any luck the dolphins might come and greet you. All this with a crew that stands out for its constant attention and focus on the well-being of those who visit us.

Sailboat on River Douro: Absolute joy! - Such a memorable experience - Claudio and Piedro made such a smooth running team. So grateful we could go a little out to sea. It was amazing to feel the power of the Atlantic … and then the release of the main sail. Delicious. Loved the story telling and refreshments nibbles. All Perfect. Absolute joy! 👌🇦🇺🇵🇹🤗

Perfect Tour - What a great way to spend the evening. Our group of 8 were all family. So we loved having the sail to ourselves. Wonderful to get out to the Ocean for sunset. We had lovely cocktails and Port with a few snacks. Hoped to see Dolphin on our trip, but we’re not lucky in that regard. Got a great referral to a seafood restaurant we’re would pass on our walk back to Gaia, that cooked our fish choices on the grill in front of the restaurant. The staff and food were amazing! Definitely a good choice to book this tour!

Beautiful sunset - After a trip up the Douro with insider tips and interesting explanations, we stopped for a photo. There is really a lot to see... .. and something to drink too ;-) The highlight for me was the fantastic sunset over the Atlantic. Tip: it's better to use Uber or a taxi from Porto. The buses are often not on time due to the high volume of traffic.

Beautiful sailing trip with a great team - Captain Ricardo and his team were very accommodating and took good care of their guests on board. It was a very nice river trip. The subsequent sailing trip on the Atlantic with the perfect sunset was unforgettable. Since I had some sailing experience, I was able to accompany the crew on the maneuvers. A wonderful experience with my wife.

"Experience the Magic of Porto: An Unforgettable Sunset Sail with Douro Captain" - Our trip with Ricardo from Douro Captain was truly fantastic. Ricardo shared fascinating stories about Porto, its history, and its most famous sights. We were treated to a stunning sunset, although, unfortunately, we didn't spot any dolphins that evening. The Porto Tonico was also a delightfully refreshing drink. I thoroughly enjoyed the serene experience on the sailing boat, especially with the small group of just seven people. I highly recommend this tour.

The perfect way to see Porto - Riardo and crew were very welcoming and took us on a lovely trip into Porto and then out to sea. We had a sail up on our return which was great fun. The crew were very helpful and pointed out all the places of interest. The Bavaria 42 was a lovely yacht and the drinks and cocktails served made it a special day. It was the highlight of my week in Porto. Highly recommended. Andre

Spectacular Evening on the Duoro River - A very relaxing and enjoyable way to see Porto from a different perspective. The crew were very kind and passionate about showing off their city in a unique way. The sunset was spectacular, we even saw dolphins! I highly reccomend this experience when visiting Porto.
