- Marina da Afurada - Our sunset adventure begins at Pontoon C of Marina da Afurada and continues towards the unforgettable historic area of Ribeira and Cais de Gaia. Once here, it’s time to discover more about the city of Porto, a task that our crew will be happy to share with you. Toast to the taste of a good Douro wine of your choice and take the opportunity to photograph in a unique setting.
Meanwhile, we reverse our course towards the sea, passing through the protected area of the Douro estuary and the beautiful old mouth of Porto with its unmistakable palm trees. And ever closer to the bubbling of the sea, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and whenever there are conditions for navigation, we touch the waves of the sea, taking our visitors to experience the magical sensation of immensity that only the sea is capable of making us feel. 45th Anniversary Cruise - Magnificent relaxing evening cruise to celebrate our 45th anniversary! Thank you to Douro Captain team very attentive! Suggest that you include info on transportation options to location as it was pretty far from Porto city center.

Wonderful trip on the river - Beautiful and relaxing trip on the river with a super friendly and informative crew. It was so nice to get away from the crowds on the streets and have a chance to appreciate Porto from a different angle. Definitely would recommend!

Douro River Cruise - 5/5 Stars ⭐️ - Ricardo was such an amazing guide! He was extremely kind and attentive to both parties - Portuguese and Spanish speaking groups. He provided us a drink of choice, red wine shots and crackers throughout the boat ride. He also explained the sights we were seeing/passing by and offered to take our photos. Pedro, our driver, was also great! We had such a smooth boat ride that my sister fell asleep for a few minutes on the boat 😂 Pedro let us know that it was going to get very windy once we entered the ocean at the end of the ride, so he provided us all individual blankets. Very thoughtful! This 2-hour boat ride was WELL worth the money! I will definitely be coming back to go on a boat ride with Ricardo and Pedro when I visit Porto again! This experience was a 5/5 stars ⭐️

Fun cruise even without the sunset. - In spite of poor weather obscuring a sunset, the cruise was most enjoyable. It provided views of Porto and Gaia which can’t be seen on shore. The two crew members were friendly and informative.

Fabulous trip on Douro with Pedro and Diogo. This was so quiet and special and private with small numbers on journey wit - You will love this trip. Such lovely Portuguese people running this interesting trip. Sweet and sincere like you meet everywhere in Porto.
