Best food and port tour in Porto - Goncalo was VERY knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. Loved every minute of this tour and can highly recommend it. Absolutely loved visiting the wine cellar of the oldest Port wine company and learning about the history. Seeing the collection of the owner dating back to the beginning of the company of 1756 was a special treat. Tastings were generous and we learned a lot about Port Wine. Far more than other tours we have taken. Really appreciated Goncalos patience and knowledge. Clearly he loves what he does The progressive food tour was equally as interesting and also delicious. Starting out at local coffee shop and Bakery, hanging with locals and learning about the delicious pastry we were enjoying. Three additional local restaurants and history of the foods we were enjoying. These were almost meals on themselves. Not small bites and plenty of food and more port, wine and beer with each food stop. Totally enjoyable afternoon with Goncalo and we enjoyed sharing stories and feel like he's a friend we hated to leave. Invited him to Wisconsin! Lol. Seriously though a tour worth every penny, especially if you request Goncalo.

Hands Down The Perfect Day in Porto - We go to Porto about once a year on business, so, we like to think that we know Porto fairly well. However, the cave tour is, by far, the best time we've ever had in Porto. Super informative and well planned. My husband has back issues and we worried about the walking; but, it was just the right amount walking to the next stop before fatigue for him. Our guide, Leo, was warm, friendly and SO knowledgeable about the City and Culture and History. Her English was perfect :) (we know about twelve words of Portuguese) So Impressive! I was worried about bathrooms along the way (Europe has a different view of public restrooms than America) but the bathroom situation was often and available. Thank goodness. The food was dreamy and the company was superb! Can't recommend this experience enough!! Can't wait to do it AGAIN next time we're in Porto!!!

Great way to experience a little bit of Porto - G was a wonderful tour guide. Very knowledgeable and good sense of humor. The places he took us too were popular with locals, which means they were hidden gems. Quaint, family owned and delicious dishes. We couldn’t take a whole day to visit the wineries, but the wine experience was a nice introduction to the history and flavor of the Douro Valley.

Highly recommend - Diogo was really friendly and informative. He took us to bars and restaurants we would never have found by ourselves and explained the culture and history of Porto with charm and humour. The Port cellar tour specifically is great for an authentic Portugues experience. Highly recommended.
