Go for it, you will not regret it - We had an amazing experience this sunset tour with our guide Gabriel. When we arrived we found out we were the only ones that evening, so a private tour it was. Besides being very knowledgeable, Gabriel was a really outgoing and fun guy to have a conversation with. The views at the UNESCO heritage site, which consists of endless wine fields and lavastone walls, are unique and breathtaking. Add a setting sun in the mix and it's once in a lifetime. After a few more little stops at good swimming and drinking spots we went to O Petisca, a quaint little restaurant in Madalena where we were treated to a feast of different dishes of local ingredients, accompanied by a lovely Pico white wine. All in all, we had a blast and can look back at an amazing experience at which we fit to learn a lot and laugh a lot. Thank you Gabriel for an unforgettable experience. Recommended to everyone, you will not regret it.

Great dinner experience - Great experience. Short visit and hike at the very peculiar and magical vineyards of Pico, followed by a very good dinner with products from the Island. It was super diverse and included cheeses, octopus, local shells, local sausages, steak, local bean stew, etc. The included wine was also a nice wine from Pico. Filipe was with us through the dinner and had lots of super interesting informations and anecdotes.

A Memorable Journey through Pico Island's Heritage - Our tour of Pico Island, led by the exceptional Filipe, was a captivating blend of historical immersion and culinary exploration. We started with a visit to the UNESCO-listed vineyards, where Filipe shared fascinating insights into Pico's viticulture. His passion for his homeland was both engaging and inspiring. We then dined at O Petisca, one of the island's top-rated restaurants. The seafood tasting menu was a gastronomic delight, each dish highlighting the freshness and variety of Pico's marine life. The accompanying Pico wine was a light and balanced testament to the unique terroir we had just visited. This tour is an absolute must for anyone visiting Pico Island. It's not just a tour, but a heartfelt story of Pico's heritage, narrated by a passionate local and savored through its outstanding cuisine. Don't miss this unforgettable journey.

A unique and fantastic experience of Pico - Filipe and his wife were incredibly welcoming and knowledgable of Pico and the vineyards. We were extremely lucky with the weather meaning we got fantastic views of the coast and the island as the sun was setting! We then went to O Petisca for small plates of delicious local food & wine and throughly enjoyed the company! We also got to see (and hear) the local wildlife before heading back. Overall it was a very enjoyable and unique way to experience a beautiful island!
