Great Pico tour and wine tasting - We really loved this tour! Filipe was very knowledgeable on all things Pico Island and its wine culture, we learned so much about Pico Island and he was able to answer any questions we had! He took us to more places to see than just wineries which was great. We also enjoyed a full Portuguese buffet lunch, and loved all the Pico wines we tried in the day! The liquor/brandy tasting was also a very nice addition to the tour. Would definitely highly recommend this tour!

A must do! - This was one of the most enjoyable wine tours that I have ever done (and I have done quite a few!) - a full day excursion, learning about the history of the island and wine production on Pico, tasting some delicious wines as well local brandy and liqueurs, and getting a mini island tour. The spectacular traditional lunch was a particular highlight!
Overall, the itinerary was very well thought out well paced. Filipe was a truly excellent guide, very knowledgeable about Pico (and the Azores more generally) and looked after us exceptionally well.
Highly recommend, an absolute must do.

A great tour through an impressive landscape! - Very interesting and recommended. Our tour guide was Gabriel, a very friendly and educated young man who enjoyed sharing his extensive knowledge with us and telling us about the history of wine growing on the island. We learned a lot of interesting things and saw very nice places. At noon, we were in a restaurant where mostly locals travel. The food was incredibly varied, rich and very good, comparable to our home cooking. We also heard a lot of interesting facts and stories about cultivation, climate, farming, harvesting and distribution during the wine tasting. Afterwards Gabriel showed us some nice bathing spots on the island. All in all, we were very impressed by the warm and very friendly nature of the people, the extensive knowledge of our guide and the beauty of nature. We would do this again immediately! PS: We were also "lucky" that there were only two of us, as the other participants had cancelled at short notice. But that basically doesn't change the friendliness and the interesting tour:-)

Wonderful All-Around Wine Experience - My 3 friends and I had a wonderful day on our tour, even with intermittent rain showers. Every stop on the tour was well-planned. Filipe worked around the rain and we were still able to see and do everything on our itinerary. The wineries and lunch were yummy. This was not my first visit to Pico but I learned so much about the history and winemaking practices. I highly recommend this tour for a relaxed but jam-packed day.

Eye-Opening Pico Island Day Trip - Felipe was a fantastic guide! He explained a lot of the history of Pico Island and the Azores, and he showed us some wonderful sites we wouldn’t have seen without a guide. He worked to accommodate our group really well. Not mentioned in the description, but the lunch, at a popular local restaurant, was vegan (and gluten free) friendly.

Pico Island Wine, Whales and Food - A very interesting and educational tour of Pico that was a full 8 hour day. The tour was was advertised as a wine tasting tour but it was more about the unique way the vineyards are planted, a stop at an old whaling port, liqueur tasting at an old family winery with a small museum, an Azoeran lunch and wine tasting at a wine collective.
