One of the most important lagoon complexes is Villacaas, made up of several wetlands: Laguna Larga, Laguna de Pea Hueca Nature Reserve, Laguna de Tirez Nature Reserve, Laguna La Redondilla and Laguna La Gramosa. They constitute LIC and ZEPA zone.
